Re: E3 2018 - Conference times and general chat

Well, I liked the look of REMake 2, it looked action-y but it also looked confined, restricted and other good things. The feedback from journalists who have spent more time with it is possitive (mostly) too. RE2 is my favourite game in the series and whatever happens, that game still exists, this do...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Playing God of War or more accurately, finishing God of War. I am so mixed on this game, I like the story it's telling, I like the setting, I like the combat for the first few enounters with the axe... and later with the blades which give some much needed consistent AOE damage ...but certain backtra...

Re: Our next podcast recording (9.6.18) - 323: Final Fantasy IV

I have nothing to add that’s not already been said and it is already on the record that I first found 4 and 6 via emulation after reading that my beloved Mystic Quest was tied to a series called Final Fantasy. What I will say, is that it is worth listening to the relatively recent Watch Out for Fire...

Re: E3 2018 - Conference times and general chat

This is what I love about e3 and the reason it still works for me as a gaming enthusiast. It's a couple of weeks of speculation, highs and lows and is very indictive of what it is like to follow this industry as a whole and it always prompts discussion and debate.

Re: E3 2018 - Conference times and general chat

I agree that fake is likely but I can't see the mistake in the title and now it's actually bothering me... The title is Ghost of Tsushima (singular). Not that such a mistake couldn't happen on a real doc, but it raises suspicions. Yep it finally clicked. Of course mistakes happen, I've been to a we...

Re: E3 2018 - Conference times and general chat

I wonder if we'll see a new Final Fantasy teased, the timing seems right but they do have a lot of other projects on and I suspect either E3 or the weeks following we'll see a tease for the next expansion of FFXIV also. I'd also like to see a sequel to Prey announced and an update on the future of D...

Re: Videogame News

Cool what do you think of them? I've only played SOTC and Fallout 4 with them so far, but both sound great. The guns in Fallout are ear splitting! The shotgun especially! Overall quality is fantastic and I find them comfortable too. I played God of War III, Ni No Kuni 2, Bioshock, Resident Evil VII...

Re: Videogame News

We don't seem to have a general 'catch all' gaming thread, so posting this here. I'm so close to getting these, can anyone vouch for the quality? They seem a decent price, £69.99 - I've seen the previous models selling for more than that, but I don't want to get them if they're duffers. Thanks! htt...

Re: All things God of War

Finished God of War III tonight. This means I’ve finished the whole series except Ascension and obviously Friday’s new addition.

III was my favourite for sure.

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Story wise, it's kind of a mixed bag so far. None of it is bad per se, but a lot of it feels kind of like filler. The beginning is pretty odd though. Without spending forever getting bogged down in minutiae, a lot of very outrageous things happen right at the start, but then the story seems to just...

Re: Dark Souls I, II and III

It's a shame that the Switch version has been delayed but hopefully it leads to a better experience. I'll probably get the game on both PS4 and NS, PS4 works better for friends and I'm interested in the graphical improvements, Switch because the idea of playing Dark Souls away from the sofa or desk ...
