Re: Shmups
Ah, so you didn't have to solder anything? That's pretty cool. I got my Sanwas from arcadeworld and yeah, it's a nice website. Don't think I've ever heard of Blunderbuss before (nor am I planning on throwing any more money out of the window on arcade sticks for the foreseeable future), but it's good ...

Re: Shmups
First of all, congrats on the new custom stick! Looks wonderfully clean and I'd be interested to know where you bought the custom parts and everything. Love the UFB compatibility, too. Was it difficult to put together? I'm actually going to stick with this for a while because it's so so responsive ...

Re: Shmups
Oh man, are you being serious?
I don't know what to say other than I'm really sorry to hear that. If I had known it would cause that much trouble I wouldn't have recommended anything.
Does that mean you're done with shmups for good now?

Re: The Last of Us Part II
''you were on 'Team Joel & Ellie' and nothing was gonna change that'' Was I invested in two of my favourite characters of all time for 7 years in a sequel? Surprisingly yes. Well of course, and there's nothing inherently wrong with that. But my point is that you can be invested in characters ...

Re: The Last of Us Part II
I think it would have been better if Abby was already dead on the beach for me which would have better said that revenge is futile. The point of the story is not that "revenge is futile", the point is that perspective is everything, that one person's heroic act is another person's nightmare and ...

Not that I think anyone will be make sure you don't read the photo of the terrible comments from people Neil Drukmann has received as it has massive spoilers in it on twitter. I thought I'd muted every hashtag and thought rightly or wrongly there'd be nothing spoilery but I think I've had the ...

Re: Shmups
I tried to fit my LS-62-01 and realised that it doesn't work in terms of cabling with my stick. Oh, really? That's unfortunate, sorry to hear that. I had zero issue with plugging the default H5P cable of my RAP N onto the LS-62-01 connector pins, otherwise I would have said something. :( Hope it ...

Re: The Last of Us Part II
After finishing the game a few days ago and taking the time to let it all sink in, my thoughts: Gameplay It's obvious that Naughty Dog and I will never see eye to eye on the topic of mechanical systems. I won't list off all of the things I would hypothetically prefer to see being done differently so ...

Fresh loot! https://i.imgur.com/kqTfvZJ.jpg OutRun 2 - This one unhinged Berserk fan I know keeps raving about it, so I thought I might give it a shot. Re: Games Completed 2020
The Last Of Us 2 I finished it earlier as well and was also left mightily impressed. More thoughts to follow but it's already up there as one of the best games of the generation for me. Who would have thought, huh? Always nice when the sequel to a long-forgotten classic lives up to expectations ...

Re: Forum Changelog and Forum Suggestions
It may well depend on that particular person's Twitter settings, perhaps? If that were the case, Jay wouldn't have been able to post that music challenge picture either. As an aside, that challenge sounds like a lot of fun. I'd be well up for a forum version of that if there's enough interest. :)

Where are you trying to post from, your phone or a desktop? Me, desktop. I tested this one (506x284), and that one (1200x630), and they didn't work either (preview and/or submit). Which means it's not an issue with the size restriction, twitter pics are just completely busted on my end. Are there ...

Busted on my end as well. I could neither preview nor post the twitter image directly.
This 1920x1080 pic I can post just fine, however:

Please report back how you're getting on with it! Oh yeah, I completely forgot to mention. I've actually had this thing lying here for a month! It's just that I've been really busy otherwise and forgot to post about it until now. But I've put some proper hours on it and it is grandiose. Lots of ...

That LS-62 sounds fantastic, as well. I might just order one and give my stick a new lease of life. It is indeed fantastic. And arcadeworld has it back in stock at the moment: https://www.arcadeworlduk.com/products/seimitsu-ls-62-01-arcade-joystick.html (I had to order from some frenchman which ...
