Re: Nintendo NX
I'm watching this with excited pre-teen eyes. Since about November I've hardly touched my Xbox One and invested both time and funds heavily in both my Wii U and 3DS. It's paying it back in a way I'd almost forgotten existed in games - FUN. Just simple fun, its like I'm 10 again. Such an enjoyable ex...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
Started Wolfenstein the new order. Didn't know anything about it going in (no idea how I've managed to avoid spoilers this long...), and it seems like something quite unique and special so far... I had 20 minutes with that game on a press pass at Eurogamer years back, might have been 2013. I loved ...

Re: Super Mario Maker - Create, share and play levels with the community.
Cool, I'll follow you all tonight when I get in and have a go at your creations. I much prefer playing levels this way, as opposed to discovering creators via the courses challenges. My Mrs has an account on the Wii U but she plays on my profile as I've unlocked all the skins and pieces now, so it m...

Re: Super Mario Maker - Create, share and play levels with the community.
Biggest thing I've noticed coming back to this game since the initial release, is the amount of traffic your created levels get, or lack of now it seems. My first level in release week got over 100 completions and a couple of stars, my last 4 I've uploaded have got under 40 ATEMPTS between them :( ....

Re: Brilliant introductions
Bioshock is a masterpiece, in terms of visual delivery for me.
I also liked Oblivion, escaping through the sewers.
Borderlands 2 was good too, with the song by The Heavy and the train smash. I can remember watching that and thinking that was a special intro sequence.

Re: Your Forum Name/Gamer ID Origins
Extension of my surname (Suters), primarily from playing football, so Suits. Back in 2006 when usernames started become a thing in my life, I needed one for my newly acquired Xbox 360 and Xbox Live, typed in Suits without thinking about it and it was done. Pretty lucky by all accounts really, as it ...

Re: Nintendo Wii U
So I spent some Admin time with my Wii U the other night. Literally since I bought it over a year ago, I just plugged it in and turned it on played Mario - nothing more. Recently I've been getting a little bored of the so serious Xbox One and playing 'try hard' games with the lads all the time, the ...

Then, I also picked this up today...........put a few hours into it so far...... http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i...

Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
What about the Desert/Jungle/Soviet/Nuclear Strike series ??
I have big memories of playing them right through from Desert Strike on the Mega Drive to Nuclear Strike on the PS1.
They always seemed challenging to me, with some depth in the crew you could pick and the mission developments.

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles X
Sweet.
I'm looking forward to this big time.
It's a Christmas Present from the in-laws though, so I'll have to wait until then.
I'm jumping in dry, not having played any of the previous tiles but wanted something new for my Wii U as opposed to my Xbox One and this seemed like the perfect title.

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
Just picked up Sim City DS for £3.50 in one of those CEX shops.
£3.50 - Incredible.
3DS gaming keeps me sane in the Christmas period while traveling around staying with family. That point where you all get together and snooze to Eastenders on the sofa is when it pays for itself.

Fairly cheap too, for what appears to be a decent title.
I'll be getting this once I finish some of the games I'm currently playing .

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
Ah I'm really tempted by a Wii-U these days. I think if I wait another year I can hoover one up with most of the great games for a very decent price. Don't be fooled into thinking that dude, Nintendo stuff nowadays REALLY holds it's price. I hung about for a while thinking prices would drop but the...
