The story goes to some very interesting places, especially in the second half.
Yeah, where the story goes in the second half elevated VC4 from being a good game but trailng behind the original to being pretty much its equal.

Re: One Credit Classics Season 6 Trailer - 23rd Jan

 He usually does a multi-episode longplay with each season. FFVII is a big undertaking though. I like One Credit Classics but I'm terrible at watching any long videos on Youtube. I'm not sure why. I watched a few of the older videos and all of season 3 but I've been keeping up with Season 6 whe...

I’m worried I’m going to run out of steam and never fisnhed with a 1st, just a couple of 2nd’s 😔.
Yeah, I have a couple of 2nds myself, it really does fell like hanging on for ages and then 1st just picks me off. Around the top 10 it reaches a speed I just can't handle.

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

God Eater, Soul Sacrafice, Freedom Wars, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite... It's pretty much the standard for that sort of game. Definitely played demos/dabbled in PS Plus copies of some of these. Never grabbed me though. Good list for those type of games. Isopod, I think I played a little bit of Fron...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

I'm probably rotating through too many games at the minute. Red Dead Redemption 2 is ongoing, still in chapter 2. It's still early days in Wargroove (Chapter 3 to be precise). It looks like all I wanted from it, Advance Wars but with its own style and quirks. Font annoys me, the font didn't need to ...

A Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.
That’s a damn good Zelda game that isn’t it.
Wish Nintendo would go for another 2D entry before following up BotW. I' don't know what new they could do to the formula though.

Re: Retro gaming

Mind, I feel that not knowing the exact label differences between regions can be forgiven in the heat of the moment scan a bundle of cart, that said - I know now !!! Of course that can be forgiven. :) But its odd that for such quality fakes that they got the labels wrong. Then again I know nothing ...

Re: Retro gaming

That's awful. I didn't know fake GBA carts were such a big deal. :( A friend had a US copy of Minish Cap. The label should be red. So its no real surprise that label was where you found out about the fakes. As an aside I really like the European Minish Cap cart label with grass rising up to the top ...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Ah, okay :D . I'm still early on and I got a number of new things to do in Valentine, started customisation (guns, horses), cooking and herbs, and discovered the collectable cigarette cards all in quick succession and that set off some alarm bells.

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

God bless Jim Cummings as Pete. I still love that in The Lion King, he sang some of Be Prepared because Jeremy Irons' voice went during the takes. Its really hard to tell that he did. Started Red Dead Redemption 2 at the weekend. Enjoying riding around and doing the story missions. I'm starting to ...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Disc 3 of Final Fantasy VIII is complete. This is now the furthest I have ever got in the game. Still smashing a lot of enemies. Keeping magic well stocked and junctioned so I can just steamroll over everything. Pretty happy to keep going to be fair. The plot took us to Esthar. Which has been closed...

Pac Jump Up! by Akitaka Tohyama (aka AJURIKA) is a loud, thumping, in your face electronic tune and a great fit for the neon lights and breakneck speed of Pac-Man Championship Edition 2.
