Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
Just started the new Hitman. It's cool. I only ever played Hitman 2 from the series before, and obviously this is a lot more polished. Only just started, literally only played the first mission. Four times. There's such scope to play how you want I've been messing around trying different stuff...

Re: Game Suggestions for the Podcast
I loved both the games but I definitely wouldn't recommend playing them both back to back as they're literally the same game.

Re: Game Suggestions for the Podcast
Did you ever play the horror themed download story? Don't think it was DLC, just a standalone thing. It looked good but I never got round to buying it.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned them yet, but the Infamous series would be good I think.

Re: Mirror's Edge
Yeah if they did make a sequel I'd prefer no gunplay whatsoever. It was the weakest part of the first game, and there are quite literally thousands of shooters already out and more being released every day. I'd just want them to work on even more fluid free running - maybe leave out the red objects,...

Re: The Walking Dead
I'm looking forward to the retail boxed copy before playing this. I played episode 1 on my iPhone and loved it but I quit about an hour in because I felt it deserved the big TV treatment lol. I'll grab it on PS3 or 360 when it's out.

Thanks all, and as luck would have it, a nice day off work ill perfectly coincided with the swift delivery of the game!
I can assure you I am a lot more pleased than my face is letting on, haha. Thanks Cane And Rinse!!

Re: DIZZY Returns
I love Dizzy. I still play the old games, but if they're making a new one I'd much rather proper oldskool 8-bit games. After playing them all on the Amstrad (the greatest home computer ever...) even the Amiga versions seemed too bright and smooth. The iPhone remake of Prince Of The Yolk Folk was a d...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
Damn, I never bother exploring multiplayer. I don't know why, just don't get time for much gaming as it is and I think I feel the need to be always pushing a story along, as such miss out on potentially a lot of fun online stuff. I deleted the game from my hard drive as soon as I'd finished the SP c...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
This is the only place I've ever heard anyone else say they preferred the second game! Not sure I'll bother with Crysis 3 when it's out but I can't wait for Far Cry 3.

Re: Rocksteady's Batman games
Did anyone buy the Catwoman DLC? It came bundled with my copy of the game. I have to say, if I HAD paid £7.99 for it (as it was on the PS store) I'd have been mighty pissed off. I didn't really enjoy playing as the Cat but even so, it was barely an hour of content.

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
Just finished Crysis 2 on PS3. I think I'll be on my own here, but I preferred it over the first game although I'll admit I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what was going on for 90% of the game. It's one of the flimsiest stories I've ever gamed through!! Rez had more of a story than this lol.

Re: Terry Cavanagh's Super Hexagon
Yeah this game is ace, I love the soundtrack. Think my record is about 26 seconds on the easiest level haha. I'm keeping my fingers crossed he ports VVVVVV over to iOS at some point too. Anyone play his other iPhone game? Don't Look Back or Behind or something. Easily one of the best ten minute game...

Re: Rocksteady's Batman games
Yeah agree with everything (except I loved the Scarecrow section in AA). Both brilliant, and unexpectedly so. Very confident a third game would be nothing short of amazing too. I loved the gadgets, the stealth, the hand to hand combat - all awesome fun. My single criticism of the series so far would...

Cheers!

Re: WIN Hitman: Absolution Professional Edition for Xbox 360
I'd hit Peter Molyneux. Fable 2 was one of my favourite games and I was so excited to pick up Fable 3 on release day, and found it the most crushingly disappointing game of all time. I traded it in after a couple of hours play. I wouldn't just hit him though. First I'd go back to Uni and learn a ski...

Re: The complete Pac-Man thread
Yeah the CEDX version was a lot more fun. Cheers for the link, I remember seeing Marcus do that joke on HIGNFY a few years ago, and even then rolling my eyes as I'd heard it so many times - I didn't realise it was his gag in the first place! I'll admit the first time I ever heard it I thought it was...
