Yeah much the same for me. Bit baffled by a couple of the reviews that have said 'even if you hate BB/DS, you'll love ER'.
It's pretty much the same opening...?
Enjoying it so far. Still feeling my way. Not drawn me in like Bloodborne did just yet...

- Not sure how to become an emissary for one of the factions. I've done a bunch of Gold Hoarder missions but don't seem to be able to become an emissary yet. There are tables nearby their respective drop off tents. Vote at one much like a voyage. - There are 100% definitely islands I get missions f...

Re: Games Completed 2022
Streets of Rage 3 is a much altered (and widely regarded as inferior) port/localisation of BK3. If you play the excellent SEGA Vintage Collection trilogy on Xbox 360/One/Series you have the choice of ROMs. The EU/PAL version is based on the US version, only it runs 15% slower too. https://caneandri...

wdO0aSrNULM Bare Knuckle 3 MD One Credit Clear Best Ending Really enjoyed playing this, had an absolute blast. I can see me coming back to this a lot, especially live and trying to get clears with all the characters. Loads of fun! I've seen a fair few people talking about Bare Knuckle 3 vs Streets ...

23rd Jan - God of War (PS4) 10th Feb - Forza Horizon 5 (Xbox Series S) 11th Feb - Starfox 64 (Nintendo Switch) With every subsequent generation, I become more and more convinced that this is the game on N64 that holds up best. I loved it at the time. I loved it when I bought it on Wii U. And I love ...

23rd Jan - God of War (PS4) 10th Feb - Forza Horizon 5 (Xbox Series S) Not sure you ever complete a game like this these days, but I've beaten all the story missions, unlocked all bar one of the barns and got to the Hall of fame, so that'll do for me. Funny old game. Can't figure it out. For the fir...

Re: 539: Metroid Prime
I know that you can't use all of this, but I thought I'd do a long post for this one as a) I love this game so much and b) many other people might cover similar themes, so it gives you something different to cut down and use!: -------------- The Wii era was magical for me. As a Sega fan growing up, ...

Presume we can include thoughts on Metroid Prime from the Trilogy release here, and that it won't be getting its own show given its a compilation?

Re: 506: Super Metroid
As a kid who grew up on Sega and Amiga, I shockingly never owned a Nintendo console until the Wii, bar a brief foray into the 3 flagship titles on N64. So Metroid as a series completely passed me by. However as I played catch up, I devoured Metroid Prime Trilogy and grew to adore them. Several years...

Re: Games Completed 2022
23rd Jan - God of War (PS4) So for the first ten hours or so, I thought I might be looking at one of the best games of all time. The graphics, art and design of everything floored me. It's one of the best looking games I've ever seen, in terms of titles that go for a 'realistic' look. Throw in an op...

This was a really great volume, props to all involved.
Helped me personally understand the end better too and process the messaging.
And it's left me wanting to play the DLC!

Another good way to get rid of those enemies with shields is to fire a grapple at them. It knocks them over a bit giving you time to shoot them.
I also find a good melee whack works

Re: Games Completed 2021
Loved hearing your account of Bloodborne Miririn! I felt very similar once I beat that game. And now I could read people's posts about their experience of it forever more! Lady Maria beat me and I had to summon for that. Wish I hadn't sometimes. But I did Orphan of Kos solo which to this day remain...
