Assassin's Creed Odyssey confirmed by the official AC twitter account, more details at E3!

As a huge fan of anything Greek and the Odyssey in particular, my interest is certainly piqued. Curious to see how this will turn out, with Ubisoft being Ubisoft and all. I shall remain cautiously pessimistic until then.

What's also interesting is that the Walmart Canada leak from a few weeks back is starting to look more and more genuine with each officially announced title. Does it mean... Metroid at E3? :o

Well fingers crossed it makes its way to console I guess!
It is backwards compatible if you didn't already know. I bought it for £2 a while back

Er, perhaps I'm being thick but backwards compatible on what?

Unless you mean the GameCube version on a Wii..?

I thought maybe it had come out for Xbox and I never knew, but no.

If you do mean the Gamecube version, yeah I do own that. I'd still rather a current gen port with trophies etc though than have to play it on my Wii.

Hitman season 2: http://www.appy-gamer.com/Web/ArticleWe ... urce=drive

Great news, I really enjoyed what I played of season one. Little bit bitter they removed the individual levels from PSN, but I may still pick up the disc release at some point.

Does anyone have the disc of season one? Just wondered if it was all on the disc or if you just get codes in the box and still have to download each level from the store?

Yeah it looks quite interesting.

Also, don't know how relevant this is to anyone here - I'm guessing anyone who wants to play it will have played it by now - but Life Is Strange is getting an Android mobile release soon.

Pleased with this: http://www.appy-gamer.com/Web/ArticleWe ... urce=drive

Rollcage is easily one of the best racing games ever, and I can't wait for a new version!

Pleased to see Rob and David get this to market. Great blokes to work with. My first job involved using the directX renderer that Rob wrote for Rollcage on the PC. I didn’t work on Rollcage myself, it was about 3 months from gold at the point I joined that studio. But it was the first game I ever saw go through the full bug fix and certification process from the front row.

I've never even heard of Rollcage, but this looks dope. On the list it goes.

Oh mate, really? It was the absolute bomb on PS1. Honestly it was so much fun. Think Wipeout crossed with Mario Kart crossed with FZero crossed with Trackmania. I loved it.

The promo there obviously having dialled down the focus on tits compared to 5 and its incalculable swathes of pervy dlc.

Thankfully, yes.

I stand by my statement that DoA is secretly one of the very best fighting game franchises, once one can look past the frivolous and immature titillation. Intense, high-energy matches with the most intuitive and rewarding defensive options in the genre.

Yeah, I used to love it. Not as deep as Virtua but everso slick and swift and dynamic.

I’ll probably pass on it, but I’m pleased for the strong scene that game has that they’re getting another game.

I remember at the last round of the doa5 tournament series they said they had an announcement to show and everyone was getting hype about a new game, and the video was actually a really sad one of the devs speaking to camera about how the franchise was going away for a while, and it felt like the dev team were all a bit shell shocked. At the time it felt like they were saying it was done for good.
