I'm confident in saying that if you bought a PSVR today, you could comfortably spend a year playing high quality PSVR games and nothing else.
Just for fun, I thought I'd see if I could back that up. Criteria would be: you complete 2 games per month, they need to be excellent games, and you should have a Main and a Change of Pace game :)

Jan: Main: Resident Evil 7 ..........Change of Pace: I expect you to Die
Feb: Main: Farpoint ..................Change of Pace: Driveclub
Mar: Main: The Solus Project .........Change of Pace: Thumper
Apr: Main: Arizona Sunshine .........Change of Pace: Dirt Rally
May:Main: VR Worlds ..................Change of Pace: Tumble VR
Jun: Main: Megaton Rainfall .........Change of Pace: Gran Turismo Sport
Jul: Main: Until Dawn: Rush of Blood .........Change of Pace: Statik
Aug: Main: Skyrim ..................Change of Pace: Superhot VR
Sep: Main: Doom VFR ..................Change of Pace: Ultrawings
Oct: Main: The Invisible Hours .........Change of Pace: Rez Infinite
Nov: Main: Sparc ..................Change of Pace: Job Simulator
Dec: Main: The Playroom VR .........Change of Pace: Polybius

I was running out of Mains at the end there, though Sparc and The Playroom get rave user reviews, and I excluded some game types, like wave shooters, tower defence, 'VR experiences' like Apollo 11 or Everest. But I think this list holds up. :D

I had a good go on GT Sport VR at Arcade Club last week. Much better than I expected, in fact, and I enjoyed it just as much as Project Cars 2 on the high end PC2 with Oculus. They should really develop more modes and tracks for it, because it's quality. Having put in a good fifty hours over the last couple of months, it was also great to know the track and braking points, etc. I did a monster lap, very satisfying from that perspective.

Yeah, I hear the VR mode is a bit limited; I haven't picked it up myself yet as I haven't given Driveclub or Dirt Rally the time they deserve.

No recurrence of your Driveclub motion sickness problems? ;)

I don't know whether it's the resolution or framerate or something else but I didn't have any problems at all, though my mate did, as a first timer with VR.

It really is. I've been half a dozen times now and love it there. Cracking day out. It's a good hour and a half away from me but it's well worth the trip.

Cool man. There's a lot of old school cabinets I've not seen in nearly 25 years. The local Southend scene down my way is really lame nowadays.

Hell of a long way away from me though  .

Playstation is launching a new line of collectable figures. Got to say, love the BB Hunter one. These would look great in a dedicated games room on the shelves I think.

Yeah, surprising they wouldn't have her, and Nathan Drake seems an obvious choice too. Must be a reason I guess.

I shall now pretend I don't want these and that they wouldn't sit perfectly next to the amiibo I already have.

Cue millions of people who called amiibo a waste of money, now suddenly justifying models of PlayStation characters they like.

A Wipeout sled would look wicked.

I can't even remember the last time I got excited for a western AAA game, but this does look dope. :o

I really, really, really enjoyed God of War 1-3, yet somehow have not been able to get excited about this. I don't understand why. I love the series, it looks amazing, I like the new direction it's gone - I don't know what's wrong with me!

Ah it's okay, man. Don't force it!

Look at it this way: Best case scenario is you picking up later at a lower price with little to no expectations and enjoying yourself. Not too shabby, no?

I'll confess: I had no idea would Bob Wakelin was prior to this post from Gamasutra, but I think anyone who experienced gaming through the 80's will surely recognise some of his work.

It's amazing how many details in life you casually overlook.

Very sad. I've known his name and his work for something like 33 years.
I wish there was more box art with that much 'soul' these days.

Although, funnily enough, if you read his comments here he doesn't rate that many of them himself!

This looks awesome. Already on early access on Steam but coming to PS4 soon. It looks right up my street.

Dead Cells.

Looks sweet. Is it the sequel to "Foxhounds"?

...I'll show myself out.
