As someone who has never played Mega Man, how does that Legacy Collection on the Xbox One hold up? A good place to start for a newcomer?

Very tempting at less than £5, if so.

Absolutely yes. I'd start with 2, as that and 3 are often seen as the best. The first is a little less polished and harsher on the difficulty.

XBOX currently have a bundle of Styx 1 & 2. For those that don't know they are stealth action games where you play as a Goblin. Second game has co-op I believe. Well worth a look if you enjoy games like Dishono(u)red

This is a videogame-related sort-of-deal, but I thought it might be of interest to some.

If you vote in this year's Golden Joysticks you can get a free e-book-a-zine-whatsit.

The 100 Greatest Videogames 2017 - Edge
The PlayStation Book, 2nd Edition
The Best PC Games Ever - PC Gamer
Nintendo Switch
The Ultimate Guide to Minecraft vol. 20
The Retro Gamer Book of Arcade Classics, 2nd Edition

Having played almost no new games this year, my votes were educated guesses at best - proving that I am part of the problem when it comes to the Golden Joysticks :)

Well I'll be entering for the free book download! If anyone fancies sharing I'll be 1979k the Edge 100 probably...

EDIT: Yep, my answers were also complete guesswork which kind of makes a mockery of the whole awards really. They shouldn't have offered an incentive. Had they not, I and many other people wouldn't have bothered voting, and the awards might have meant something!

I went for the Edge 100 too. It mainly made me angry, as all good "Top" lists should.

Ah I went for the PlayStation book in the end after realising I'd already read the Edge top 100 issue!

I went for the retro book as I have the physical copy of the top 100 and the others didn't appeal

Does that work in the UK or would the codes be for the US store?

Good point - it looks like the codes are for the NA branch of the store.
