Exodus is something I'm very interested in too, though I didn't really get on with the first two.

Conarium is decent, for the walking sim folks. Not brilliant, but good.

I remember one of the Metro games having quite decent stealth mechanics, similar to Wolfenstein New Order

The ‘redux’ versions of the first two metro games are on game pass, I really should get around to those.

2033 is a rough diamond I did prefer it to Last Light though even though technically is the better "game". Would recommend them both highly

I played and enjoyed the first one last year. Got the second to do at some point before I play Exodus, too. The first game was great until the last 15 minutes when it went crazy mental.

It did irk me a little I made the non canon decision at the end.

Holding off getting it now as RDR2 has finally clicked with me. Realising Arthur Morgan is as grumpy as me has gone a long way

Exodus seems to be getting pretty good reviews.

Crackdown 3 seems to be just ok which is about what i was expecting.

I'll give it a whirl and see if it holds my interest

It looks fun.

I really enjoyed the first one and played the second one also but I'm not sure I'm going to play 3 - although visually it's great to look at and seems to perform very well.

The Digital Foundry piece John Linemann did was very good.

Gave it a whirl, solo and found it a bit tedious. I might have to go co-op only with it

I might wait for Gathering Storm to go down in price. I'm excited for it, I really enjoy Civ VI, but $40 for an expansion/DLC is a rough ask.

Crackdown 3, at least the campaign mode, feels pretty much identical to the first game to me, just prettier. Even has that weird subtargetting thing where you lock onto an enemy by holding LT then move the right stick to select which limb to shoot at.

It’s... ok I guess? If it wasn’t on game pass I doubt I’d be playing it though.

Makes you wonder what took 9 years?

I suspect the game we’re playing has only been in dev for the normal 2 years. What’s likely happened is previous attempts will have been cancelled and restarted, several times.

It’s on Unreal 4 anyway, and that’s not 9 years old so...

Devil Engine is another to look out for, very fast paced and chaotic horizontal shmup which gives me some Thunder Force vibes. Switch launch trailer below:

Coming to Switch and PC on the 21st Feb.

Nice one, there's always something missing but it's almost impossible to keep upto date 100%
