What's Out This Week?
Re: What's Out This Week?
I will be playing Left Alive today and will report back.
The Occupation isn't very good sadly.

It is an interesting one. Very rough around the edges but I am enjoying playing it and I am going to stick with. The stealth is brutal, if you are seen it is pretty much game over. It feels and looks like a Metal Gear PS3 game.Magical_Isopod wrote: ↑March 6th, 2019, 11:37 amDo let me know your thoughts. I think I'll be allocating my trade credit elsewhere though.
A couple of hours in it reminds me of Alpha Protocol a game I really enjoyed but had a marmite reception at the time.
I think it will have a cult following when it hits the £15-£20 mark in a few weeks

Re: What's Out This Week?
I was getting the same vibe. I found out yesterday that I spent $1000 last month on binge eating (mental health disorders are fun), sooooo... I'm not spending $80 on Alpha protocol.DomsBeard wrote: ↑March 6th, 2019, 2:28 pmIt is an interesting one. Very rough around the edges but I am enjoying playing it and I am going to stick with. I'm gonna try Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Free Edition, though I've no idea if it's good or not. Going into it very blind.

Re: What's Out This Week?
Really depends on what you're into. It's ostensibly a gatcha game, but the rewards are actually pretty cool if you're a Final Fantasy fan. The gameplay is.... Fine? The loop is basically: Play the game, win coins, use coins on loot boxes, repeat. The economy seems fairly generous, at least in single player.... But I can't say the appeal of getting all the collectibles is something I'd spend tens of hours in a game for.duskvstweak wrote: ↑March 12th, 2019, 3:04 pm I'm gonna try Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Free Edition, though I've no idea if it's good or not. Out of the Park Baseball!
My one true love <3 <3 <3
I guess I will have to sign up to the Epic store for Satisfactory; I don't mind another shop though.

Re: What's Out This Week?
It will feel so weird not playing a new FROM game on the PlayStation but it'll be One X all the way for me. After being rather underwhelmed by the early footage, the recent demo previews have lit a fire and I can't wait for it.

Re: What's Out This Week?
May I ask why? I haven't followed this game's development too closely as I would prefer to go in knowing as little as possible, but is the PS4 version inferior in any way?
Re: What's Out This Week?
I didn't even notice Sekiro on there
How the mighty are fallen
In truth, I must have blacked out for a second when I hit OOTP

Re: What's Out This Week?
Not as far as I know, no. There's been nothing on the difference between versions except that the PC can do 4K 60fps, depending on your machine. I'm just going off previous experience that basically everything is better on the One X. I also prefer the pad by a mile.KSubzero1000 wrote: ↑March 16th, 2019, 12:05 pmMay I ask why? Re: What's Out This Week?
I have Sekiro Shadows Die Twice arriving tomorrow for rental.
What the hell is it?
Is it a Dark Souls style game?

Look. Don't tease. Is there really a dating RTS out there? That's brilliant.

I mean, just imagine the battle fields! Taco bell parking lot, movie theaters, prom night, summer camp! This idea IS GOLD.

Re: What's Out This Week?
I'm glad that all the pre-release hype surrounding DMC5 had the fortunate side-effect of diverting my attention away from anything Sekiro-related. I haven't watched much of anything since the initial announcement trailer and I'm suddenly really hyped to pick it up tomorrow and dive headfirst into Miyazaki's latest brainchild. These days, I find that my most powerful experiences tend to be with games I know very little about going in.
