There's a Killer Instict branded Madcatz stick for the XBO, but nothing else yet.

The Japanese side of the industry really hasn't moved onto the XBO and PS4 yet, I'm not aware of any fighting games in development for either from there.

I imagine we'll get some branded ones for Mortal Kombat X next year, they might end up being the first on the PS4.

Yeah, I'm more than happy to wait. I've got a crazy big collection of fighters on 360 and elsewhere.

Cannot fathom why SNES/GBA virtual console games aren't available on the 3DS. Surely it'd be a licence to print money for Nintendo...

All is explained here:
http://www.vooks.net/why-the-game-boy-a ... l-console/

I wouldn't rule it out ever happening though. Actually N64 VC seems like a good fit for 3DS to me as the graphics won't look quite as rough on a smaller, less high-res display.

One thing I still don't really get myself though is why NES games cost £1 more on 3DS than they do on Wii U.

Cheers Ratso - interesting article but I really don't see any of it as being much of a technical hurdle if Nintendo actually wanted to make it happen.

There are VC games from a multitude of systems of differing tech on the 3DS running fine, perhaps their issue is with the VC code itself, as by running the games from the ambassador program proves they will run, they're just not necessarily compatible off-the-shelf with the current 3DS VC. I'd quite like an overhaul of the VC anyway, it's not exactly feature-packed as it is, the Vita for example handles PS1 games very well with many more features. Either way I hope they get round it somehow.

I'm also far more bothered about the SNES issue than GBA games... One day I'll have a Wii U and it'll be moot though :)

Of course! Silly me. I don't have much preference when it comes to pullblox/pushmo but calling fallblox "crashmo" is just mental

Not sure what's out for download on 360/PS3 or XO/PS4 though.
Is there a good resource for this?

I can never really find a concise, informative place for release dates. I tend to just scrabble about for info from a variety of places.

Not sure how reliable it is...!

https://sites.google.com/site/xblareleaseschedule/home

There's also this...

http://www.eurogamer.net/releases.php#m ... &platform=&=

Also the wikipedia page for game releases has the biggest names on there.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_in_vi ... .80.93June

Valiant Hearts! - Various

Shovel Knight! - PC (All), Wii U (N.America)

I didn't realise Valiant Hearts was out so soon.
On a side note, thank you for doing this, it is very helpful.
