Time for me to find a new main. Chun Li is way too weak at the moment. I land so many hits, but, it takes like, twice as many hits to KO than it does for other characters. At this point, I'll never hit 900 LP with her.

Chun is rated by many as the top character in the game, but I also find her pretty tough to use.

Might try out some PC SFV this weekend. As/when I do, I'll add my Fighter ID to the list (below).

Fighter IDs (Forum):
RatsoAlbion
iwatttfodiwwfa
Flabyo
mikeleddy83
beck1110 (Beck)
SteakEater (PressEscToExit)
Xer0Signal (Sean)
Domsbeard
RobC-UK (RobC)
Jinkkai

Fighter IDs (Other):
KayinAmoh (Darren Forman)
andihero (Andi Hamilton PS4)
Ghostchant (Andi Hamilton PC)
Lorsini (Dan L, PSN: strybe)

I feel you on the chun problem, i was doing great until i hit 1k LP. Then it just seemed like i would hit and hit to chip away only to brought even with one target combo. I'm doing much better now that I've switched out to ken.

Sorry Mike I've only just seen your message on psn for some reason.

Hovering around 1000lp at the moment and still having lots of fun with Laura, not been tempted to try anyone else.

Slight grumbles which could be fixed:

1. Music. Having to listen to whoever you are fightings theme is quite dull (see 2). I'd prefer each stage to have it's own music.

2. I would pay to have a matchmaking option to exclude certain characters. I'm genuinely bored of fighting Ryus, I'm up to about 100 fights now and 75 have been vs Ryus. Ken seems to be a bit different from what I've faced.

3. Necallis critical art needs turning down a bit. I've seen it take off 60% health more than once.

The stages do have themes, but for some reason ranked mode always goes for character themes. If you're playing battle lobbies it seems to use the stage themes instead.

They couldn't do that in ranked of course as it would be far too exploitable/abusable, but it could be a thing in 'friendlies'.

I think V-Trigger makes it a little too easy to combo into Super in the game in general, but Necalli's is particularly egregious because it hits so hard, and his stomp animation lasts so long that it's trivially easy to confirm into Super.

He's a tough fight for Laura overall, I find. They're effective at roughly the same range but his normals seem to beat out hers a lot of the time, and it's hard to stay disciplined vs his frame traps when you want to get in close and pressure him.

His pressure reminds me of Kazuya and Heihachi in Street Fighter x Tekken in a lot of ways. There's always a little more block stun than you expect, gaps that aren't really gaps. I use V-Reversal against him a lot to reset things and try to work my own setups.

Reiteration of the list, now with my PC Fighter ID added. My PS4 Fighter ID may well change too, but I'll let you know if/when that happens.

As a heads up for those training with new, or trying new characters. Combosumo, shoyryuken and event hubs are great starting points to learn.

8 player lobbies launches on March 28th, with Alex to follow on the 30th.

Assuming it works, we can finally start doing proper game nights for this...

I don't want to be the harbinger of doom but pending server troubles how does:

Monday 28th March - 8pm sound?

I'll get over this addiction to posting images soon...

I'm definitely up for putting these new lobbies under some strain on Monday night, and maybe making it a regular thing if there are enough of us still playing.

I think I may have found the world's most brazen rage quitter the other night. Dunno how well you can make it out from this picture but he was on 205 consecutive wins when I bumped into him

Is anybody up for some Battle Lounge madness this evening then? I'll be online for a bit.
