I haven't popped it in in a week or so, and, even then, I was getting kinda flustered by not being able to get out of Bronze. Feeling like I'm just not that good, and, don't really have the time or commitment to get much better.
I'm the same but I bought the digital copy as I presumed I'd love it as much as 4 and 2. I'm high up in silver but it's just not clicking at all, I've not even bothered with the story mode.

Hey, hey, hey! I've added magicjoef to the list and updated my PS4 ID, as it's changed.
Akuma and holiday costumes and 5 completely new characters and Season 2 rebalancing - I dare say I might finally step into the online side of things (0LP on both accounts thus far).

Sean, not sure if you stuck with SFV, but Birdie and Cammy are the characters that were designed to be easiest to pick up. Chun-Li might well be the "best" character in the game, but even the best Chun players in the world frequently drop combos because of how tough she is to play.

Fighter IDs (Forum):
RatsoAlbion
CarterCommaJ2 (James PS4)
Flabyo
mikeleddy83
beck1110 (Beck)
SteakEater (PressEscToExit)
Xer0Signal (Sean)
Domsbeard
RobC-UK (RobC)
Jinkkai
CarterCommaJ (James PC)
magicjoef (magicjoef)

Fighter IDs (Other):
KayinAmoh (Darren Forman)
andihero (Andi Hamilton PS4)
Ghostchant (Andi Hamilton PC)
Lorsini (Dan L, PSN: strybe)
SilentH (Paul Rooney PS4)
RooneyPaulB (Paul Rooney PS4)

Top work, nothing better than working out a dull player round one and turning it around.

UFA 2017 this weekend. In Europe too, so no staying up into the small, wee hours!

Alright, me Leon, James and a friend of mine had a little lobby going on last night and it was a ton of fun. Would more people be up for that, say, next Tuesday evening (GMT, GMT+1)?

Yeah I could try and get on, I presume it will run fine if I don't have the DLC characters?

Yeah, you don't need them, just the update.

Some matches of yesterday night's battle lounge that I felt pretty good about...

I'm in.

Note, I've not played in forever and I've buggered my wrist.... I'm making excuses early so the continuous defeats to Leon are more bearable than last time. I might have PTSD from his Blanka wins ...
