To anybody on the fence as to weather or not get BF3 on PS3 or 360, please do not look at this rather barren thread and think 'shit, im getting the 360 version, nobody on here has it on PS3'. Cause if you think that, you would be wrong. The simple reason there are no posts about PS3 BF3 game nights is that at we are on nearly every night at some stage, therefore, there is not much point. Thank you please.

Having played nearly every night for a year on bad company 2 with Jay and Don and others I can assure you that you will have an excellent time. Excellent crack and you will learn swear words you never knew existed :) ..... Ps the fact i have it on 360 is not a contradiction of my previous paragraph ;)

Just picked up the new bargain Premium Edition on PS3 for a tidy £32 with discount.

Considering how much content there currently is for this game (with still more to come), that's quite a bargain at that price.

It would be better had I not bought it on 360 12 months ago.

Yes sadly the 360 version coincided with Microsofts decision to totally fuck up the user experience on their console and so I hardly played it.

Having gradually repurchased my favourite multiplatform games for PS3 I was left with a hole where Battlefield BC2/1943 once lived and the BF3 Premium Edition is a good way to fill it.

Ahem! Check my Battlelog skill & K/D level Tom. That should be proof enough on my end. :D

Yaaay, more PS3 Battlefield 3 players. Welcome all. I should be on all weekend peeps. Double XP for the win. :D
On a side note, personally i would find it annoying if all the weapons were unlocked from the start. There is a sense of achievement when you unlock something new and it flashes up on the screen. I miss that aspect of the game.

Girlfriend is having a ladies night tomorrow, so, I'll be on most of tomorrow night, I imagine. Could use some of that double XP, as, my arsenal is a bit shit, at level 4.

What your timezone Sean? I'll try and co-ordinate to be on at the same time you're about.

Just picked this up, 6 gigs of patches and maps is a bit extensive but I'm up for a game sometime if anyone's interested. Last and only game I played in the series was Battlefield Vietnam so I'm a bit rusty.
