Thought I'd post another Sunday quiz, please read the new additional rules (they've changed a little) in advance of entering.
Additional rules
To allow more players to participate I've taken the measure that you only submit up to 4 answers at a time until prompted for more. I want as many people as possible to be in for a chance at trying the quiz. As with the last quiz the best answer will get the point!
Posting more than 4 answers at a time will void your entry.
Name the game each sprite is taken from. Have fun!

Yeah, I know the last quiz was dominated by characters but it's not my intention to let a whole world of gui sprites, background sprites and incidental sprites go homeless just yet. Despite the guess at 13 being wrong it's blown my mind that Karnov is a thing (and somehow I've played 2 games with him in it)! I'm going to have to read up on my Data East.

It really annoys me that I know almost all of these, since our answering capacity is so limited. C'est la vie; no restrictions on answers is what kept me from getting in on previous quizzes, so I shouldn't complain. In any case, it actually surprised me that I knew some of them. Suppose it goes to show that for everything else one can say about a game, a lot of the time the artists can create images that simply stick in your head, be it by design, art style or colours.
