I think it's still £12 for both, which is the way to go.

Hmmm slightly suspicious of using my card on Nintendo after my card was hacked after using it on the eshop (I've not used it for anything else for months). I'll pop into town and get a £15 card before next Saturday.

The one thing I've loved about MK8 is unlocking new characters, I've gotten so used to everything being dlc that it was a genuine joy to see new things unlock.

Bought the dlc, that Hyrule track is superb and great fan service. Rupee's for coins! :D

I'm still impressed by how they made the excitebike level fun! Its like a bigger Baby Park with ramps which sounds awful, but it works.

Kinda hoping, somehow, they have a WaveRace themed level. We've been underwater before!

Not a fan of the excitebike one, but that's because I've never been a fan of Mario Kart tracks that are just big circles.

It somehow comes to life with online multiplayer and green shells zooming about the place, crossing from one side to the other. Not my favourite, not by a long shot but still much better than I thought. The only new track which I thought didn't live upto the rest of them was the snowy one with the dual lanes.

I wasn't keen on the Excitebike one but I've since had some brilliant multiplayer races on it. The Zelda track is definitely the stand-out, I keep noticing different touches every time I play. Though I have far more trouble than I should activating the master sword each time round. Feel free to add me for the 17th; Electric_Croc

Are you guys all pros at MK8 at this point? I've only really played it on occasion when my niece and nephew are over, so never with any overwhelming impulse to win. Would I be getting my arse handed to me every single race by people who have honed vehicle setups, and know each course like the back of their hand?

There will be players with a spread of abilities, and this being Mario Kart those nearer the back will be awarded the tools they need to race through the pack. Also it's just for laughs anyway really, so don't worry about it and have fun!

Absolutely rammed lobby but I've got the best seat in the house spectating my monster hunter bodyguard Grim!

Erk. Went back to change my vehicle, and I think someone took my spot. I'll try again later..

Fantastic MK8 session folks! I'm knee deep in Alien Isolation at the moment so an hour of crazy racing was the perfect antidote! Finished second with 168 points when I finally had to stop. Pretty pleased with that considering I haven't played it in a while. Thanks for racing guys and lets to do it again soon :)
