Re: The "Introduce yourself" thread
Hi everyone, I've been a gamer for over twenty years now (I sound like I'm confessing). I started off watching my Dad playing Zelda on the NES and not really understanding why he'd bought me some sort of grey box, but before long I was working my way through Ducktales and replaying the moon level more times than was probably healthy.
I discovered the Podcast after looking for something to replace the now defunct GameSpot UK podcast for my daily commute, and I'm steadily working my way through the back catalogue. Castle of Illusion, Half-Life Eps 1 and 2, Metal Gear Solid 4... the biggest danger with your podcast is that it makes me want to replay all these classic games instead of finishing off my current one (at the moment I'm a few levels in to Hitman: Absolution).
In case you can't tell from my avatar one of my favourite games is Grim Fandango, which in my opinion is crying out for a HD re-release. Recently I've been impressed by the Walking Dead, Tomb Raider and Far Cry 3, but I was blown away by Bioshock: Infinite, to the point where I couldn't face playing any other game for about a week after completing it because nothing else felt like it could compare.
I'm not a huge multiplayer fan, but I do drop into the odd game of Halo 4. My gamertag is laj105 so feel free to add me, and I'm looking forward to talking about some great games.

Love the avatar! Grim is indeed one of the best!

Hey there,
My name is Aaron (known by friends as Arry) and I am a gamer (unsurprisingly). I have been a gamer for as long as I've been old enough to wield a joystick. I played my first game aged four and haven't stopped since - this reason among others have prompted me to consider myself a "gaming enthusiast maybe even a bit of a gaming geek... in fact (to my shame) I am the sort of person who has a spreadsheet of every game I have ever owned on every format and the year started/completed etc.
I have been listening to Cane and Rinse for a while now and felt it time to finally participate in some capacity in the community.

Glad you decided to join in Arry!
Don't worry about the spreadsheet confession, I know there's more than a few like-minded individuals floating about these parts

I guess this is the official introductions spot, if it isn't just remove this.
Hello everyone.
My name is Lorin and I'm from Pennsylvania over in America. I'm a grad student working on my PharmD. My spare time is spent split on tabletop gaming and video gaming. I had the pleasure of co-authoring a tabletop RPG with a good friend of mine (that should someday be released if she ever finishes her half) and am in the process of starting a podcast with a friend of mine on tabletop gaming.
I found Cane and Rinse from listening to Digital Gonzo. I work 12 hour shifts and generally listen to podcasts during that time and was eager to try a new one. At first I was hesitant to listen to just some people talk about a game for 2 hours but I can honestly say that some of the discussion is really genius and it never fails to entertain.

Welcome Matt (sorry)

Hey-ho Matt! Welcome.
Re: The "Introduce yourself" thread
Hello all! I'm a... regular downloader of the podcast. Try to be listener, but you seem to mostly cover games on my "to play" list, so avoiding spoilers is fun! Started listening to you after finding your "Alice: Madness Returns" podcast, and every one I've listened to has been just as informative and fascinating.
I'm a student in Sheffield studying Games Software Development, so I like to pretend listening to you counts as revision
Thought I should sign up seeing as you keep asking so nicely
