It feels like ESJ has about half the levels the developers want there to be. So many different gameplay elements are introduced and so little is done with them; and it feels like there could be even more.
The game actually surprised me with several of the levels. I hadn't expected some of the variations on gameplay that it presented; for the most part I was expecting Kaizo/Meat Boy/Cloudberry-style tests of memorisation, and while there was a little of that, and a few annoyingly precise jumps, it mixed things up more often than not; and it was incredibly fair almost all the time. Was fun and challenging and whether you get it in the current Indie Royale bundle or on Steam, it's almost certainly worth it.
Would have liked the final boss to be a little less bullshit, though.

Starcraft 2:Heart of the Swarm-Yeah pretty solid but after WoL is kinda of a let down it doesnt help that the writing took a nosedive in this part it seems Blizzard is repeating it's patern to screw up every interesting/good part of their stories and lore, other than that though I dont have much to complain it still is one of the best single player RTS campaings well on to get destroyed in multiplayer.

Cripes!

Badum tch! There's actually a bit more to do so 100% is a bit misleading but sod that. Social Club deems only certain missions to be worthy of the %age meter so its very easy to pin down which ones you need to do.

Re: Games completed 2013

Completed two full seasons of Master League (and a half-season on top), won cups and played games in Be a Pro. Whilst I don't have all the achievements I think it's a suitable marker to name it a completion. Much slower paced than Fifa and it's nice to play it and not see the same passages of play you do in Fifa, but the swap to a new engine has hindered its progression. For me it's actually worse than PES 2013.
Batman: Arkham City
Didn't enjoy it for the first few hours, but when it clicked it became a lot more fun. Took too long to open up and then, when it did, there was too much content which resulted in a real awkward pacing to the game (highlighted even more by the 'Protocol 10' countdown.) Still one of the very best in class, but isn't the masterpiece that I'd declare Arkham Asylum to be - and having played Arkham Asylum, again, to 100% completion, only a month ago, it really shows. That said, there are many things that are very, very good about City and even a handful of things it does better.

Smashed the bumhole off Wind Waker HD! My god, I always knew I liked that game but I forgot how good it is. It needed a bit more content in the end-game but when a world looks, sounds and plays as good as that, you can't argue. I didn't get everything and I doubt I will but that's always the case with me and Hyrule.
With my 50 hours+ in GTA V and 30 for Zelda O can firmly say that playing games from a decent chair or beanbag is far superior to the desk where my PC sits. Sure its better for some games but comfortable is king. Need a super long HDMI lead for the PC!

Picked it up in a Steam sale a while back having completed the game on 360 back in 2009. PC version benefits nicely from higher resolution, smoother frame rate and in particular some nifty PhysX effects.

Dark Souls: Prepare to die edition-yep still one of the best games of this generation and of all time the Artorias fight was amazing and both kalameet and Manus were good I even summoned Sif but he didnt do much to help,I have to say that as much as I like dark souls I dont see myself finnishing it a third time,Bed of Chaos and Tomb of Giants are too much of a pain for me to go through again,I'll continue to play the game in the future im sure but im just not gonna bother trying to reach Gywn anymore.

Easier than you think. Just use CAT-5 cable with an adapter. It'll save you a fortune and it works exactly the same.dezm0nd wrote: Need a super long HDMI lead for the PC!

Re: Games completed 2013
Pretty sure you do, I totaled it with just 10 random missions to go for social club 100% (of which only 25% contribute towards 100% game completion and the trophy). 30 nuclear waste, 30 sub parts, 50 spaceship parts, 50 letter bits, 50 stunt jumps, 50 under the bridge, 15 knife flights... easy! Took ages but I enjoyed it.Alex79uk wrote:Do you have to find the 50 letter pieces for 100%?dezm0nd wrote:Badum tch! There's actually a bit more to do so 100% is a bit misleading but sod that.
