It really is. I've been half a dozen times now and love it there. Cracking day out. It's a good hour and a half away from me but it's well worth the trip.

Cool man. There's a lot of old school cabinets I've not seen in nearly 25 years. The local Southend scene down my way is really lame nowadays.

Hell of a long way away from me though  .

Playstation is launching a new line of collectable figures. Got to say, love the BB Hunter one. These would look great in a dedicated games room on the shelves I think.

Yeah, surprising they wouldn't have her, and Nathan Drake seems an obvious choice too. Must be a reason I guess.

I shall now pretend I don't want these and that they wouldn't sit perfectly next to the amiibo I already have.

Cue millions of people who called amiibo a waste of money, now suddenly justifying models of PlayStation characters they like.

A Wipeout sled would look wicked.

I can't even remember the last time I got excited for a western AAA game, but this does look dope. :o

I really, really, really enjoyed God of War 1-3, yet somehow have not been able to get excited about this. I don't understand why. I love the series, it looks amazing, I like the new direction it's gone - I don't know what's wrong with me!

Ah it's okay, man. Don't force it!

Look at it this way: Best case scenario is you picking up later at a lower price with little to no expectations and enjoying yourself. Not too shabby, no?

I'll confess: I had no idea would Bob Wakelin was prior to this post from Gamasutra, but I think anyone who experienced gaming through the 80's will surely recognise some of his work.

It's amazing how many details in life you casually overlook.

Very sad. I've known his name and his work for something like 33 years.
I wish there was more box art with that much 'soul' these days.

Although, funnily enough, if you read his comments here he doesn't rate that many of them himself!

This looks awesome. Already on early access on Steam but coming to PS4 soon. It looks right up my street.

Looks sweet. Is it the sequel to "Foxhounds"?

I dont know if this should be on the news segment as it's just a rumor as of now but if true it really sucks for the people that really like playing the game: http://steamcommunity.com/app/493840/di ... 328613093/

Despite my dislike for how Capcom handled MvC:I with the resurgence of SFV in Arcade edition I held out hope that a similar treatment might come in the future for MvC but if this is true that's not going to happen, sad that my second favorite fighting franchise had to go down like this...

Jesus fucking Christ reading that thread makes me so grateful we have a forum like this to discuss video games on. It's an absolute hate filled, right wing cesspit.

The joys of intellectual property and licensing. It's why I like my physical copies of games, and dread the future of streaming, where everything and nothing can exist.
