Jeff Minter’s Tempest 4000 out now for XO (£24) and PS4 (£25).

It is, to all intents and purposes, (Vita) TxK in 4K.

I'm very happy about the Mega Can X Collection. I've never played any of the X games so I'll definitely be picking it up, digital be dammed. I heard great things, though!

Didn’t realise Banner Saga 3 was out so soon, and a concurrent release on console with the pc version, which is nice! Looking forward to the resolution of the plot, which has been pretty opaque all the way through.

Looks like they're spread across two separate games. Would nice to have them all together but yeah, business reasons.

I never did buy either of the Mega Man Legacy Collections, so as a newcomer to the series, which of the four that will be available now is the best place to start?

If you've not played any Mega Man games? I'd probably start at the beginning as Mega Man 2 is a stone cold classic for me.

Thank you! Does make sense to start at the beginning, then I’ll see how the two X collections review.

Genuinely gutted, thought this was out today for some reason.

Made plans to play it tonight an all.

Dead Cells - PC, NS, PS4, XBO
Flipping Death - PC, NS, PS4, XBO
Overcooked 2 - PC, NS, PS4, XBO
Minit - NS
Monster Hunter: World - PC
Ōkami HD - NS
Madden NFL 19 - PC, PS4, XBO
We Happy Few - PC, PS4, XBO

A big week, really. I guess with the kids being off school there's more opportunity to sell them videogames! August (Madden, rather) signals the start of the silly season.

I've pre ordered Dead Cells on XB1 purely because it was cheaper than on launch but if I had more time and money, i'd be interested in a lot more.

Yeah, I watched the Giant Bomb quick look of Dead Cell's last night and instantly remembered what it was all about.

If I get it, It'll be on Switch I think, that said - I don't think I'm in the mood for this at the moment so may hold on for a bit and see.

I don't now how the Switch port stacks up in comparison, but friendly reminder that I consider Ōkami to be an absolute masterpiece, and one of those games that really reward long-term investment and perseverance. It has its rough spots and noticeable pacing issues, but it's a one-in-a-lifetime experience at best.

Or a thrice-in-a-lifetime experience where you fail repeatedly to get past the moribund first 6 hours :D

Minit is excellent, if it is any way reasonably priced on NS. It took me 104 minits to finish but was very enjoyable.

I remember loving Okami on PS2 but it just went on forever, it felt like. I never did finish it and find it a tricky one to get going again from the start

Yes, that is a megadrive release in amongst that lot :)

I might get Penguin Wars, very fond memories of the GB version of that back in the day.
