Games Completed 2013
01/01 - Dishonored [sic] (PC)
Total = 1
Obviously I had been playing this before the bells rang 2013 in, but I finished it this morning. We're off on another year, folks!

Yeah, I might try it this year, as well. Although, I date things differently from you all.

- Spoiler: show
02/01 - Grindstar (Browser)
02/01 - Hug Marine (Browser)
Total = 4
Spotted the Frog Fractions posts and couldn't resist. Bananas!
Grindstar requires 1,000,000 left clicks of a mouse to finish legitimately , but I had the developer's blessing to use his shortcut once I got to 10,000, so I'm counting it as complete.
Hug Marine is a fun little platformer by the same guy (who learned Stencyl from scratch in a month to make this game). Check them out even if only for a few minutes (click "Browser" for the links to each). Go on!

Jan - 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (DS)
"Completed" it once in 2010 but finally got around to getting all endings to set me up for the sequel. Glad to say the zero escape series may soon be joining the top tier of my game collection.

Hotline Miami ,very good game overall but I dont get why so many people put it in their favorite games of 2012

I got this for Christmas and can't wait to tuck in. The DS has a preponderance of high concept adventure/puzzle games and Leon pointed 999 out as one to look at given my enjoyment of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective.mikeleddy83 wrote:Jan - 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (DS)

Re: Games completed 2013
- Spoiler: show
03/01 - Thirty Flights Of Loving (Steam)
03/01 - Gravity Bone (Steam)
Only the first playthrough of SM3DL. One I may return to at a later date, but for now it's onto other things.
Karl inspired me to finally uncork the Blendo Games pair of short, but interesting games. I played TFOL twice to take in the developer's commentary.
Running total = 7
The running total includes additional and repeat playthroughs (NG+, co-op, etc.), but the list is spared them to keep it shorter.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3)
I enjoyed this. Well, apart from the interminable gun play. It wasn't awful, just weak in comparison to the other elements of the game. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the second game which seems to be universally loved.

Re: Games completed 2013
Yeah the second game is much better in terms of the set-pieces and the overall gameplay but if you didnt like the gunplay im afraid it's not gonna get much better,part of the reason that I quit uncharted 3 was because of it.The Sonic Mole wrote:Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3)

Similar to Journey but a lot simpler and made almost two years earlier. I also find it more emotive. After hearing Ben Ford reference it on a recent TSCoin podcast I opted to go back and revisit it and enjoyed it once more.

Completed Dead Space 2 on Zealot difficulty. Such a great game, the lighting is still amazing and the controls should be the benchmark for any 3rd person survival game. How Resident Evil 6 could be released over 18 months after this and be so far away from it in terms of quality of control boggles the mind! Wanted to complete it at least one more time before the release of Dead Space 3.
