I was looking forward to Sonic Colours but the physical version has been delayed in Europe!

I’m looking forward to BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites, out on everything this week, and Boulder Dash Deluxe on PS4, Xbox and Steam (I think).

Good shouts on those titles, people.

I'm absolutely hoping Warioware is good. I really liked Game and Wario but it was it's own thing and a slight disappointment in that respect but having it back to madness on a big screen TV.

Yes please

Is Warioware a game that can be played single player and enjoyed or not really, as I wouldn't ever really be in a position to play multiplayer as none of my local mates would be interested. I have played a Warioware before growing up but it was in multiplayer on my mates Gamecube.

WarioWare has traditionally been a single player experience.
The GameCube version with its multiplayer focus was the exception.

As leon already said, WW is a single player game mostly but there's alot of fun to be had with people watching the madness on the sofa.

Give em a few minutes and you'll be passing the pad.

Brief update, this is another great port, just as with Mushihimesama. Runs exactly like the 360 version to me, on arcade stick with a Brook UFB. I'd come to assume that the Switch was inherently laggy based on a shitload of slightly dodgy shmup ports but Live Wire have twatted it out of the park again. Ripper.

Really looking forward to Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu this winter. I asked Live Wire ages ago on Twitter if they could get Dodonpachi Daioujou and Mushihimesama Futari and they said fingers crossed or something like that. So, err, fingers crossed.

On a related note, City Connection are also porting Deathsmiles 1&2 soon, which is great news for both horizontal bullet hell fans and the paedophile community.

Thanks for the info, Marlew!
It is on the European shop, and at only around £15.

happy to hear WarioWare can be expected to focus on the single-player experience, as I also don't intend to get much play in a group setting (especially with a Switch Lite!).

I haven't played a game in the series since the original on the GBA, so I'm really looking forward to diving back into the craziness.

shame. I'm always on the lookout for great horizontal shooters (Lite = no Flip Grip), but the sexualized children thing is a complete dealbreaker. more than one otherwise interesting-looking shooter has been passed up for similar reasons. oh, Japan... *sigh*

Is Deathsmiles really that bad? Some of the promotional material is questionable, but I don't remember any of the in game content being so.

It's actually not that bad, I was mostly joking. Nevertheless, I slid my 360 copy down a grid because I couldn't bring myself to sell it on eBay and I simply didn't want it in the house. The artwork is unacceptable to me.

The non Japanese versions age up the characters by a few years. Non-canonical I guess but at least puts them into non actual child category.

I have Diablo 2 Ressurected pre-ordered but if i'd of known about how corrupt Blizzard was/is I probably would've given it a second thought. There's lots to think about when it comes to this sort of situation and what feels right to you but ultimately I will be playing it this week and I will most likely enjoy it.

Test Drive Unlimited could be a decent stop gap till Forza Horizon 5 comes out. Lost Judgement I'll definitely play but won't be picking it up till after Christmas at least. Not much else there I'm interested in this week. I feel like we're definitely not getting Silksong or Braid Anniversary this year now...

Test Drive is coming out already?? I've been paying close attention to that that game, but this comes as a surprise. There's been hardly any news about it, and there's been zero gameplay or screenshots released. That's a bit concerning.

Pretty packed week in general though. Kena, Sable, and Lost Judgment. I hope I can get around to actually playing them someday...
