Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
Someone mentioned Another World. I can smell it!
Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
Almost purchased Another World on Wii U. I'll put a green tick next to it!

Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
Finish it first - you might get defeated by it (I did on Amiga)!
Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
I tried to glance through most of the posts here so I hope I won't be repeating someone, but here are a few I would love to hear caned and/or rinsed:
Kingdom Under Fire series ( 3 Games, Xbox-360)
Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver ( Any would do)
Total War: Shogun 2( Or Rome)

Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
The Legacy of Kain series has been requested a few times and is on the list.
I think the Kingdom Under Fire series is more like five or so games on several different formats. It's not been put forward before and I don't know if we have any players on the team.
As for Total War, again it would definitely need a panel of three or more true enthusiasts and I'm not sure we have any on the team.
I'll put them on the spreadsheet though to ascertain if we have any internal interest, but I'd rather not cover a game or series at all than do so half-heartedly or inexpertly.

Sorry about the re-ask of Legacy of Kain.
Quite understandable on the KuF and Total War games, It's those qualities in the podcast that make it so enjoyable to listen to.

No need for apologies at all!
I've added the others to the list. It only takes a handful of our large team to be into the idea and a show can happen.

Apologies if it's been suggested already, but any chance of a Witcher 1 and 2 retrospective before 3 comes out?

Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
They're on the list and we have a few months before W3 hits so it's not impossible.
Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
Yay! Thanks for the reply. Would love to hear some deep discussion over these...
Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
You'll get a fairly unprintable three word review from me for Witcher 2 if you get to it
Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
I mentioned on Twitter but I would love to see an Elder Scrolls set or at least an Oblivion and Skyrim Podcast.

Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
Some of our most-requested titles and always under consideration but we've yet to decide how to tackle these behemoths.
Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
Hey chaps, hope some of these inspire! Sorry if they're repeated
1: Advance Wars series
2: X Wing / Tie Fighter
3: Lucas Adventure Games (Monkey Islands / The Dig / Full Throttle / Day of the Tentacle etc... (no idea how you'd tackle them!)
4: Flashback
5: Sensible Soccer / Sensible Software
6: Dooms & Quakes
7: Rage
8: Total Annihilation series
9: Rock 'n' Roll Racing (although I think that may be just for me!)
Cheers guys, keep up the excellent work. Always appreciated.

Like the idea of a Sensible Soccer. I was going to try play it on my PC yesterday. Loved that game.Cwenchdesign wrote:Hey chaps, hope some of these inspire! Sorry if they're repeated

It's pretty timeless isn't it? Still plays well on most formats and there were a tonne of versions too. SWOS was a pretty fun managerial version too.Like the idea of a Sensible Soccer. I was going to try play it on my PC yesterday. Loved that game.
Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
I'm sure its been said but given the recent Mario podcasts I'd love to see Sonic the Hedgehog given the same treatment and hearing peoples thoughts on the alternate path Sonic took to Mario.

So I never played a Yakuza game but today I finnished watching a LP of the first one and I think it the series would make for some great discussion in the podcast!

Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
You'll be pleased to know that series has been on the big list since the start. The problem is the number of games and in many cases their lack of availability in the UK. We still live in hope that 1 & 2 HD will get a release.
