Finally. Yakuza can't come soon enough.

Holding off on Resi 7 purely because I want to play it with Playstation VR. Just hope it is better than 6.

I think that's pretty much a given at this point.

Never played that series really. I tried a bit of 5 (I think?) when it was on PS+ a couple of years back, but I hate joining series so late on, so this remake of the first game sounds pretty good to me.

It's an acquired taste for sure, but one that I would definitely recommend to try out! And while there is indeed a remake of the first game coming out soon, the one releasing next week is actually Yakuza Zero, which is a prequel to the rest of the series. And it's a great starting point which doesn't require any knowledge of the others! So you could totally try and see if it's up your alley and work your way up in chronological order afterwards if necessary. There are even some fairly believable rumors that SEGA is planning on remaking 2 and re-releasing the others on PS4 further down the line. Pretty good time to jump in, if you ask me!

Valkyria is sneaking out? Would've thought that would've got bigger fanfare.

Japan only so far.

Will pick up Gravity Rush 2. Might wait on Yakuza 0 for a couple of weeks while playing GR2.

Whoops, I try to keep JPN releases out of this schedule as it doesn't seem relevant to this forum.

Apologies!

I cracked and picked it up. Playing in headphones is bad enough, could not imagine VR

I played the demo with headphones, on Vita via remote play, in bed. Got about 10 minutes in before freaking out. Trouble is I love the Resi games - even 5 (never played 6) and I really want to play it.

I keep flip flopping on For Honor. The closed beta it felt promising, but not a must buy. Playing the open beta this weekend it's felt a lot better, but then I had a couple of games with some absolutely ridiculously unfair instant kills with the edge of the docks that may have put me off the thing for good...

I was a bit surprised by the asking price for it £44.99

I was expecting something in the lower £30 band to be honest.

If it were multiplayer only then I could see that. They've talked so little about the single player campaign in the past year or so, no idea just how substantial it is.

I can see me picking it up later on, but by then will anyone still be playing it?

I only watched Berserk for the first time recently, I'm not big on anime but it was absolutely immense. It actually horrified me for several days. I can't see myself getting the game for a long while but I'll be interested to see if it's any good.

Is the Berserk game a Warriors game? I can't remember.

I read something about that. I guess it kind of makes sense, Guts rampaging through the battlefield but I don't really get how it could possibly end. Anyway, it's out already in Japan, I think, so I guess I could find this out already!
