Re: No Man's Sky

Played a few hours last night. Was really taken with it. Kinda like the fact you have to figure things out for yourself. I got lost in a cave system for two hours, which was a little frustrating but once I found my way out I had all the raw materials I needed to get my ship running and headed of int...

Re: No Man's Sky

I really want this game regardless of how its received. It's not going to please everyone and frankly it's going to be a hard game to review and probably shouldn't be judge by its scores. I can't wait to step into my ship, take off and explore. I'll probably never "finish" it but that's not the poin...

Re: The Sony news and discussion thread

If you have an Android phone, you can use Turbo FTP to transfer files to your Vita without the hassle of having to use a PC. This was the only Android client I could get working out of the 3 or 4 I tried. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=turbo.client The Sega Master System and Genesis ...

Re: The Sony news and discussion thread

All those in the showcase are the emulators right? You then add the games to then be able to play, have I got that right? Sorry I'm so new at this.

Re: The Sony news and discussion thread

That's where I was going wrong. I was getting a connection to FileZilla and then it was dropping because I was backing out of that screen on the vita. Cheers I'll give this a go when I get home.

Oh and I'd love to play cannon fodder on my vita. Not played that since the Amiga days.

Re: The Sony news and discussion thread

I've tried this this morning. Got it all downloaded to the vita but I have no idea how to get games on to it? I'm a complete novice to all this so if anyone can give me some pointers that would be grand.

Re: Plants vs. Zombies

Damn you cane and rinse for reminding me of this game. I've just downloaded it again on to my phone and spent a happy few hours playing through it to the horror of my phones battery. This game got me through some boring times when it came out. My business was dying on its arse and the only thing tha...

Re: Xbox One

So would it be cheaper to buy the standard Xbox s and then grab an external HDD drive?

Re: All things Uncharted

I've never really had a problem with the combat. With each incarnation it has improved. It can be a little repetitive and Drake is a mass murder by the end but when those big set pieces kick in I smile like an idiot and quickly forget any issues there may or may not be.

Re: Xbox One

I like the look of the slim and the 4K ultra HD drive is tempting but I'm also excited for the Scorpio. Do I really want to trade in twice in 18months.

Re: The Sony news and discussion thread

Yeah I was having trouble downloading both that and gone home. At first I thought it was because I had changed IP the previous day but everything else was working fine. Haven't tried since.

Re: Videogame News

Just purchased the season pass as it saved me a couple £ and also realised I've not played it since last August. Think it's time to dust off the trusty swords and come out of retirement.

Re: Videogame News

Holy crap I've never read something so insulting that it may as well have reached out and slapped me for apparently being immature for liking games. And could some please explain what the following is meant to mean: "Many industry series, like Fallout or BioShock, draw heavy inspiration from films, ...

Re: Street Fighter V

Picked this up in ASDA today, then put it back down. Is it worth waiting till all the issues are ironed out and they've added more content etc? I've not really played a Street Fighter properly for many years, but I am a big fan and would like to get back into it, especially if this community is invo...

Re: Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege (PC/PS4/XB1)

Oooo I've got it but not really played it yet. I'd be up for some games as don't really fancy playing with randoms and no one else seems to have it on my friends list.
