Team Sonic Racing is getting some glowing reviews, and is only £29.99 full price.

Very tempted...

Re: Microsoft Xbox news and discussion thread

Not helping! To be super unhelpful, the X is a brilliant machine and if you've got the funds burning whole in your pocket then it's definitely worth the price of entry if optimal performance is something you care about (on console obviously, before PC folk jump in!). There are hundreds of gam...

Re: The Sony news and discussion thread

Well, I've done mine, it took a couple of hours but only because I had a couple of hiccups where the guide wasn't quite right. Worked it out in the end though! Nice, handheld Megadrive and SNES again, woohoo! It's fairly straightforward, if you can follow guides it's not too much hassle, although i...

Re: What's Out This Week?

I’m not sure if I missed something but Fallout 76 aside I think Bethesda have been relatively consistent. Although aggregate scores aren’t stellar some of the Rage 2 reviews have been individually favourable like the IGN review. I wouldnt write them off just yet. Fallout 4 was also garbage, unless ...

Re: The Sony news and discussion thread

Underwhelmed to be honest. Have no love for Medievil - not saying it's bad but have simply never played a Medievil game. Was the same with the Crash and Spyro do-overs. FF7 looks weird. I don't have much more to say on it than that! Riverbond was really the only thing that peaked my interest. Love t...

Re: Videogame News

Sad news about the closure of Ultra Ultra. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2019-05-08-echo-developer-ultra-ultra-has-shut-down Echo is a game I've had on my 'to buy' list for a long time but never got round to picking up. It's still available for purchase on PS4, Steam and GOG, so will get on to ...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

After decades of trying, I finally got to the end of Out Run today! I’ve come within touching distance a couple of times on the Sega Ages version on Switch but this time, apart from a brush with one other car, everything went right and I had seconds to spare. In all my years of gaming, I think this...

Re: Retro gaming

Just got the shipping email for my Analogue Mega Sg, so that might even be here as early as Monday. Be nice to finally be able to retire my increasingly flaky Megadrive before it dies entirely. Well I am bloody jealous. I was flip flopping on whether to get one for ages, and eventually fell down on...

Re: Google Stadia

This is all so very interesting. The internet at large (and this forum alone!) seems to be veering wildly between those who are incredibly excited, those who don't care much but accept streaming is happening, and those that seem deeply offended by the entire concept! Personally I'm excited. There's ...

I think a streaming service is a lock, and I wouldn't rule out a little box and controller for your living room. Something Apple TV sized.

Re: E3 2019 - Conference times and general chat

I'm actually really looking forward to E3 this year, mainly to see what Xbox/Microsoft does. We're not getting a full new console reveal, that'll be next year, but I think they'll be dropping some big bombs about the way they're heading with cloud based streaming systems and hints about what the nex...

Yes it looks great. Would love to hear the English dub though as I probably would have to play it through on that for the first time. :)
I'm sure the dub will be dreadful - as it should be!

New trailer for Shenmue 3!

All looks very 'Shenmuey' (love those NPCs!), so is right on track for me!

Re: Everybody's favorite GBA titles

I never gave GBA enough love at the time, despite owning one of the lovely NES limited edition SPs (which was stupidly sold years ago!).

I do remember having a lot of fun with Advance Wars, Mario Kart Super Circuit and Sonic Advance though which I can recommend without reservation!
