Re: Super Mario Maker 2 - **1st Page For Community Level Codes**

This game is so great, I wish I'd been there when it was new. Found some amazing super worlds though, people have just made full Mario games to play, honestly some of the ones I've found are just as good as what Nintendo have made in the past. Currently playing through a brilliant Super Mario World...

Haha, Flabyo. I bet you're a beast with the staff, by now.

Re: Games Completed 2020

Speaking of Capcom classics, I replayed Resident Evil 4. I played it once before, very slowly, years ago and I couldn't see what all the fuss was about. Now, with Resi 1, 2, 3, Veronica, and Zero under my belt, I feel like I'm seeing 4 through brand new eyes. Maybe not the "greatest game of al...

Oh nice! :)

Play my levels, I promise you they strive to be some good old (and new) Mario. :P

22-10 Onimusha: Warlords (PS2) Started this playthrough with my regular Resi playing buddy early this year and, with the corona situation and countless other cancellations of our get togethers, we ony now managed to wrap up this remarkably short game. Not exactly speeding through my backlog at a bre...

Re: All things Fire Emblem

I really have no issues with Shadow Dragon other than that they didn't use full on pixel art for the battle scenes. It's FE at its barest, but I'd rather have that than a bunch of extra mechanics that completely undermine the core dynamics (see: Awakening). Cool announcement, in any case! EDIT: Ah, ...

Re: Super Mario Maker 2 - **1st Page For Community Level Codes**

I haven't touched SMM2 after I finished my W1. Would love to go back to it, but I'm in the level design phase of my own video game, so that takes precedence, naturally. I think there is a tutorial that'll pop up the first time you start on the level editor. It's surface level, but then you can go de...

Re: Mental Health

So sorry to hear that, dusk. What's been keeping me sane is my work with Cane and Rinse, our Video Wizards project and the game me and a good friend have been developing, which is all sorts of exciting. Sometimes that gets so absorbing that I forget about the state of the world and that's probably n...

Was giving the SNES version of EDF a quick go in the Super Nintendo app on Switch and it was more compelling than I expected it to be. Crazy amount of weapons to choose from, although a fair few seem unwieldy/bad.

Re: PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

I think the unfortunate design decisions to only make KOs possible via super moves is that you never really "feel" the damage done against your character as the only thing that matters about this is that it allows your opponents to build up their meters. It does not affect your own avatar ...
