Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII

Right, I'm jumping in tonight.

Got a group of us up and running, I'm a day behind them but I'm eager and up for it.

Just got to play some Animal Crossing with the wife first and I'm in.......

Re: Super Princess Peach

Not much to add, unfortunately. Really not my type of game. But mate, these threads are always total highlights. Keep 'em coming! :P Cheers man, that's very kind. Yeah, my immediate gaming friends don't really care much for this sort of thing either and unfortunately have very little to offer about...

Super Princess Peach

https://i.imgur.com/idrZej8.jpg Carrying on with my delve into the Nintendo DS range of games, I came across the rather controversial Super Princess Peach, which I actually first made aware of its existence while browsing a bundle of loose carts for sale on Facebook Marketplace and it’s beautiful P...

Re: Starlink: Battle for Atlas

Yeah, the combat is great fun, I have to admit that.

The big battles against the larger nasties is a joy and like you say using the elemental combo’s is very pleasing.

I can imagine Co-Op being fun too.

Re: Starlink: Battle for Atlas

I’ve been playing this too man, everything you’ve said is true, it’s really not a bad game - just a little bland I feel. I’m about 10 hours in, I’ve had a few two hour sessions then a really long 4/5 play last Friday. I got stuck in a sort of loop of doing silly little quests on the planets as I did...

Re: The state of the industry

Wonderful post. The larger scale of this has been in my mind for a while now. There’s been a big call for a union for the industry, something that would help with guidelines and support workers. It would also help companies set out certain things regards how they support and employ their workers. It...

Re: Comic Book Chatter

Japanese car part catalogues used to read flipped too, which was a cool novelty until you really needed to find something.

Fascinating culture.

Re: What's Out This Week?

Other end of the scale here, I held off putting anymore hours into Horizon in August and not touched any open world games since due to the upcoming RDR2.

My mind, thumbs, eyes, ears and bum are ready for this.

I’m excited.

Booked two days off work as well.

Re: The Nintendo news and discussion thread

There were some issues with the sound from what I recall people saying.

Other than that, it’s supposed to run pretty well so I believe.

Re: Special No.3 - recording December 2018: Game Boy

There was a sort of half way house between that, which were boxed in original GameBoy boxes but with a Super GameBoy compatible logo on them. Which in reality just meant there was a file on the cart that prompted a palette picked out by the devs for Super GameBoy use on the SNES. WarioLand 2 came in...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Over the last week I’ve been in the routine of three games, which is nice I think and I’m enjoying bouncing between them all. During my nice little break to Amsterdam of which I only took my 3DS, I played some games of an evening and during my time in the airport, I also managed to pick up a few Str...

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII

Me and the boys are teasing this but as big Halo/Destiny players the TTK in these CoD games makes me wince.

That said, much the same as you Leon, where keen on the Zombies and Battle Royale modes.

Funnily enough, the missing story mode is a big negative.

Re: Game suggestions for the podcast

It's a rather sexist game, albeit with some interesting mechanics - which would probably make for interesting conversation. Yeah, I kind of dug into the history of it a while ago when I was looking at DS games and it seemed to ruffle a lot of feathers. There’s a few odd game design choices ‘astheti...

Super Princess Peach.
Added!
Hahahahahahaha, I got one !!!

I’m playing through it now actually, enjoying it, it’s rather unique in a few cool ways.

Feels like a GBA game touched up to be a DS game.

Loads of Toads too 8-) .

Scratch that, I’ve just got the last two worlds to do. It’s a very different game trying to get the Kong letters.
Yeah, I bet.

Re: Custom Soundtracks

Yeah, it was neat.

Came up with all the track names and everything IIRC.

Mind, FH4 even has the capacity to like your Spotify account and play stuff like that.

But the XBox 360 was new at the time and felt pretty cool.
