Re: Anthem

Problem with those numbers is that a lot of people went with Origin Access premier route since it gave you access to the game a week earlier. EA has been pushing hard for players to purchase that subscription, so they might be fine with sales as long as it translates to bigger interest in Premier. I...

Re: Game suggestions for the podcast

Curse is a great game. Especially if you consider that was the one where Guybrush spoke to us with the beautiful voice of Dominic Armato ;)

Re: Hollow Knight

Its great to see that this game is getting the attention and praise (and a lot of salty tears) it deserves :)
Can I ask you guys what platform are you playing on? Is the late discussion (comparing to PC release) just a matter of playing it on Switch?

I bought a new TV on black Friday so I've been jumping between replaying God of War and playing my first Yakuza game (Yakuza Zero to be precise).

Re: Games Completed 2018

I had, unfortunately, a very busy year so I haven't played a lot of games (and the ones I played were quite lengthy). In no particular order (i could forgot about something as well):

Assassins Creed Odyssey (PC)
Shadow of Tomb Raider (PC)
God of War (PS4)
Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4)
Spiderman (PS4)

Re: Our next Final Fantasy podcast recording (15.12.18) - 350: Final Fantasy VII

My adventure with FF7 was when my parents bought me in '98 when PC port was released. It may be the first grand adventure I played (or at least one I can recall). A lot has been said already about memorable moments, meaningful relationships between characters, interesting locations, great music. Ins...

I enjoyed Blood Omen back in the day. I actually enjoyed it more than Soul Reaver games, but its very much different genre so it's very subjective.

Re: All things Achievements, Trophies, Meta

I only found myself working acitvely towards achievements in one game. World of Warcraft. I specifically remember this one "Friend or Fowl - kill 15 turkeys in 3 minutes". I like those silly achis that make me do what I usually don't do in games (unless its pvp :> ).

You don't lose whole progress. During your runs, you gather blue orbs that you can use ...
