Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

How has your turntable for DJ Hero held up? Still working well? I had a small issue where the d-pad was pushing left on its own. This only happened twice and only affected the menus, so it was still playable. Didn't happen last night. Turntable itself is still good. My turntable has seen less use t...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Currently working my way through DJ Hero . I deleted my original save file (from 2014) and am working through the mixes on normal (pretty much all I did on the previous save). Having quite a bit of fun. I feel if it was any more complex I'd be far worse. I haven't got the hang of scratching and usin...

Re: Game that defines the console?

Can you pick one game per console that defines that system for you? I don't mean the best game on the system, I mean the one that defines how you view the console in your mind? I may have taken this as a more personal question than intended. The games represent my general experience of the consoles...

Yeah, starting it tonight. I bought both games back in the Winter Steam sale to play back to back.

Re: Games Completed 2019

I really want to play Kiwami 2 after really enjoying Zero and the remake of the first game, but for some reason it never seems to come on a sale! Kiwami and Zero are always in the sale, but I'm holding out! Kiwami 2 has only been out about 10 months I'd guess. I think the sale prices for Yakuzas st...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Losing steam on Final Fantasy XII now. I'm 45 hours in and may drop doing hunts and just barrel through the rest of the story. Picked up Crypt of the Necrodancer on Switch as its only €4 now and I've been tempted for some time. Its the first roguelite that I haven't bounced off since Rogue Legacy on...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

I'll add to the Suikoden 2 chat only to say that the plot is a bit more political, more in the vein of a Final Fantasy Tactics than the SNES games mentioned. But yeah, I've played a lot of JRPGs and rate it very highly despite only playing it in 2015. Soundtrack is great too. Enjoy! Speaking of Ival...

(So that means it will be 1-0 with the first goal in the 4th minute and boring thereafter)
Close enough. Whether it was the three week gap or the over 30 degree heat, the game was really sluggish and poor quality. I'm happy with the result though.

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Just Final Fantasy 12 on Switch recently. Its the first time I've given it a go since the PS2 original in 2008. I'm 24 hours in and just left the bunny girl village. This game is still beautiful even if the character models show their PS2 roots. The plot is only ok to be honest, the interesting stuf...

The PS2. Played it first in 2001 and still pick up games for it these days.

Hori Hard Case is the one I use. Slightly bulkier than the other official slim case but not by much. Feels much sturdier.
If that's the one with the inward dimples on the front, I also use it and have been very happy with it. I also have the same type of Hori case for the Vita.
