Re: All things Kingdom Hearts (and its ridiculous numbering system)
I'm a massive fan of the first one. I remember becoming interested seeing a trailer on television that showed Jack Skellington and Halloweentown. Had to have it. I got a PS2 and Kingdom Hearts for Christmas. I loved the concept, story and gameplay. I was quite young at the time so beating it was a h...

Re: Hollow Knight
I must have gotten really lucky on my initial PC run of Hollow Knight because I'm really struggling with the Radiance boss battle on Switch. I was going for completion which I think even without beating the Radiance I have 105% completion from doing the dlc bosses. I think I beat the Radiance in les...

Re: Hollow Knight
Nice! As for Hiveblood, they put it in the game so I don't think it's cheating. If I'd had it at the time I would've used it haha. I think I used the Joni's blessing and the one that gives you 3 extra blue health and the upgraded version of the fragile health charm to just tank my way through the fi...

Re: Hollow Knight
I’m in White Palace right now, and am tearing my hair out. Boss runs and platforming challenges have been the least enjoyable sections of the game for me, and White Palace is nothing but platforming. I can feel these spinning blades slicing away at my enjoyment and appreciation of the game. Alas, o...

Re: Dead Cells
Also the ost is fantastic. Absolutely beautiful and invigorating. It's constantly driving you on. Bought the ost within an hour of playing for the first time. I recommend the ost too!

Re: Dead Cells
It's like more of a rouge lite fused with Metroidvania. Won't lie to you, it's certainly a rouge lite. I'm not a fan of them either but I like this one. The genre hybrid is very enjoyable to me. You do start over when you die but you collect Cells which purchase permanent upgrades in some cases. Als...

Re: Bloodstained???
Yeah I'm enjoying it so far. I really never had a platform to play SotN and I've always wanted to play it so I'm really really excited for Ritual of the Night. Hopefully it comes out soon.

Bloodstained???
So the wife and I headed to the beach for a week. No where special but I get up like 4 hours earlier than she does so brought the Switch to kill time in the morning. Bought this Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon game and have been playing it. Not bad. Very retro Castlevania...then I suddenly remembere...

Re: Hollow Knight
I'm quite enjoying my time with HK but finding it all too easy to turn off when frustrated. Mainly down to the traversal which is becoming more tolerable over time but it just seems that all the stag stations are so far away from whenever I am. Could use one more in each area maybe? If you defeat d...

Re: Hollow Knight
The rematches I dont even know how many times I died to False Knight there Absolutely agree with you there. I did beat False Knight rematch but i died a lot lol but I've never been able to overcome the rematch with Soul Tyrant. I got frustrated, walked away and never returned haha. They're definite...

Re: Hollow Knight
The Dream Warriors or the Dream rematches against False Knight, Broken Vessel, etc? Because the Dream rematches are pretty hardcore but the Dream Warrior bosses were all pretty easy to me. They're cool but they all just have a gimmick. Usually telepathically controlling their weapon. They're all nea...

Re: Hollow Knight
Watcher Knights was my worst boss as well. I'm glad a lot of people here agree because my buddy said he did it first try. I was thinking I just suck lol of course my first run I didn't know about the chandelier trick to make the fight a tad easier. It's not a big help but it would've led to victory ...

Hahaha yeah you probably should but it doesn't unlock until you beat the game anyway. I'm not sure premadeath modes are ever fun lol.

Re: Hollow Knight
Just curious if anyone here has attempted a Steel Soul mode run yet? I don't think I can personally. I can think of a few bosses who would end that run promptly.

Re: Hollow Knight
I saw it from videogamedunkey sometime last year and he heaped a ton of praise on it. I think I bought it as soon as the video ended. I music and hand drawn art style really appealed to me.

Re: Hollow Knight
I'm almost finished with my Switch playthrough which is turning out to be more enjoyable than my Steam run was. I love playing in bed or on the porch if it's nice outside. All the FREE updates and dlc since I last played can really be felt. I still don't like the first 2 levels (gameplay wise) since...
