Re: Whatcha Been Watching?

Some of them are definitely a bit more adult and perhaps too ponderous for the kids e.g The Wind Rises.

I’d say Howl’s, Spirited Away and My Neighbour Totoro are the most accessible.

Blathers is a genius. The museum is worth the price of the game alone. Hyperbolic maybe but in this moment it’s positively therapeutic just wandering around drinking in the ambient music. It’s weird because my museum is empty and sparse but I’m planning on filling it up and restoring it to it’s inte...

Re: Let's have a thread about the virus, then. We might as well.

I’m finding a lot of joy engaging with the silly things that home isolation has brought to light like doing cosmic yoga with the kids. Rolling around on the floor pretending to be a poke ball never gets tiresome. I’ve taken to ignoring the lies and ineptitude of our country’s leaders and their advis...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

For info, the first world is basically infant tier relative to what follows. I’ve been stuck on the last boss now (twice) for about five years 😄. The boss at the end of the first world? 🤪 I’m really enjoying it. I’m playing co-op with my son who is funky Kong who is nearly indestructible and I’m do...

That’s terrible Alex. Bonfire In the garden? Or I recommend cooking bacon with the iron.

Re: Let's have a thread about the virus, then. We might as well.

In principle most people develop immunity to a virus after one exposure (vaccine or actual infection) and you can show this to an extent with an antibody test. Some people if ill with it or vaccinated will have a partial response but not enough to develop full immunity so in principle could get it a...

They didn’t feel like wolverine tier (and still don’t). It’s more rife than everyone thinks. Two other doctors at the practice confirmed positive one of them only had a runny nose and many more with symptoms who almost certainly have it too. We were down to 1 doctor out of 13 physically in the GP pr...

Glad it’s out of the way and I can browse the vegetable aisle without worrying too much about whose been sneezing over the lettuce. Went to work today too. Than...

Done. It’s not much but hopefully it’ll help if everyone chips in.

Leon genuinely piqued my interest so I’d like to go one day. Just hoping it lasts the bleak present to have a bright future.

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

I introduced Ellis (4) to Yoku's Island Express and he enjoyed it. So much so that when I came down from my shower this morning he'd decided to sit and play it. As soon as I walked in the room I just knew... I just knew. Checked the save games, yes, he'd managed to delete my 68% completed save file...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Thanks for all the sympathy everyone!

The main reason for my post was to highlight Silent Hill 4 as a creepy form of escapism as the protagonist is trapped in his apartment whilst the world outside seems to be going to hell. No holes in my isolation room to climb out of though.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Swapsies!

Just played a little bit and popped over to Le Isle de Suits. Mine is like a scout camp gone wrong where as Nick has designed some sort of Upper Class Holiday Paradise. Even the flowers are perfectly lined up. It’s given me a few idea of my own and I want that Museum now. The music that plays when y...
