Re: Games Completed 2022

Ive gone on a puzzle game tear here in January. Credits on The Pedestrian, Superliminal, and Gorogoa. All very bite sized but that is not indicative of their quality. I liked them all quite a bit for several different reasons. I also completed Olija and liked, but didn't love it. The narrative and t...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

I've put 5 hours into Nobody Saves the World and I kind of love it. It's got a ton of the drinkbox look and feel so if you liked the general art and style of the Guacamelee games, youll probably dig the look of this one. The gameplay is wildly different as it is essentially Diablo but instead of fin...

Re: The "Introduce yourself" thread

Hello, my name is Mark. I grew up on Sega until I got an N64 and then moved over to PlayStation, I currently look to play games on the Mega Drive, SNES, PSP and PlayStation 2 although I also play on a number of other systems. I started listening to the podcast at the beginning of December after loo...

Re: Games Completed 2022

1. Punch Out (Wii) Title defense mode is still such a pain in the ass, but in the best way possible. It's amazing, I love this game, but have played it so much less than the other two. I'm now dipping back in to improve my times as much as possible and finding new shortcuts and counters is a blast. ...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

I'm still not super far into it, but the combat got more interesting to me once I got a few skill books under my belt. Books of knowledge? I forgot exactly what they're called but I didn't even know they existed until I stumbled across one. They're how you get cool new moves. I also find Eivor to b...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Orphan dad Kiryu is maybe my favorite Kiryu. I played 3 over the summer and really enjoyed it, although it was kind of funny going from Kiwami 2 to Yakuza 3. Graphics and physics downgrade, but I didn't mind at all because I was into the story.

Re: 500 - Outer Wilds

Same as me! I feel like I'm always the outsider talking about this game but it didn't work for me either. Always bums me out because people talk about it like a religious experience and I feel left out, haha. Excited to listen to the show though!

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

I started Lost Judgment tonight because I just needed something to feel good with. I've fallen so hard for the Yakuza stuff over the last year and, although I'm early on, I'm expecting to love this too. Sometimes it's comforting knowing exactly what you're getting.

I tried so hard to like Sekiro but I just couldn't clear the learning curve. I'm so all over with FROM games.

Re: Super Mario Maker 2 - **1st Page For Community Level Codes**

New level guys. 86V-5H8-S4G. Hoping to have a Mario feel to this but still offer a little challenge without feeling unfair. I like making tough levels but also want to make some that are accessible to the wider community so more people get to play and hopefully enjoy my levels. Any feedback always ...

Wow Suits!! Intricate and incredible level. Really enjoyed it. Felt like a proper genius once I figured out the path. Theme was fun and the cave atmosphere really worked. Great work.

Fresh new level:

JV4-86T-TDF

Seaside scrolling. Tried to make it as authentic as possible to a SMW level. Let me know what you think! I’m going to play catch-up on everyone’s levels in the morning. But I’ve been working on this level for 3 hours and need to sleep.

Took me a minute with the Kamek puzzle but the solution was really cool. Nice work!
