Re: Games Completed 2021
22/02 - Yakuza 0 I have no idea why I loved this game. It’s mad, it makes no sense, it’s painfully Japanese, it has flawed storytelling, pacing and a lot of questionable content... But I adored it. From start to finish, it’s one of the strangest, most brilliant games I’ve ever played. Onto Yakuza K...

5. Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope - PS5: co-op playthrough
Presentation and story are both better than Man Of Medan, also quite spooky in places. That ending though........

4. Donut County - PS5
Fun charming little game that didn't outstay it's welcome, nice little palate cleanser in between playthroughs of bigger games.

3. Dark Pictures Anthology: Man Of Medan - PS5 Played through in co-op with a friend which I think is the optimal way to play, can't see single player being as much fun. The presentation is what I enjoyed the most, story is so so but does the job. Managed to get a couple of characters killed but tha...

2. Resident Evil 3 (2020) PS5 Good but not great, far too short Having just completed RE2 myself, was looking to move straight onto 3. But think I'll give it a bit of a rest before I pick it up (cheap). Also - I finished Untitled Goose Game the other day. Speaking of short games, this is deffo one ...

9/1 Yakuza 4 Remastered (PS5)
Another solid entry in the series, enjoyed the 3 new playable characters and their fight styles and respective story arcs. Plot and tone get increasingly ridiculous as the game goes on but that's par for the course with this series

Re: Let's have a thread about the virus, then. We might as well.
My partners 95 year old grandmother has been hospitalized the last week with symptoms and now just tested positive. Saddest part is that the grandkids cant go visit her, they've only allowed her direct children to go in one at a time and they had to be fully decked out in a sealed bodysuit. Does an...

Re: Let's have a thread about the virus, then. We might as well.
Sent home from work due to being in close contact with a colleague suspected of being infected, still awaiting tests results to see if they are indeed infected. If they are assuming I have to self isolate and get tested myself, all rather confusing right now! At least I can put a dent in the backlog...

2 - Return To Arkham: Batman Arkham Asylum - PS4 Pro
Still a great experience 11 years since release (that makes me feel old), bosses (mostly) still suck and the ending was more abrupt than i remember but overall still my favourite Arkham game.

Re: Games Completed 2020
#1 - Batman; Arkham Origins Started playing over christmas as I fancied playing something with an xmas theme. Enjoyed my playthrough but I can see why this is (mostly) regarded as the weakest entry in the Arkham series. The whole way through i felt like the game was fine but lacking that extra speci...
