23 - Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag - PS4 on PS5

still great, shame Ubi never capitalised with a pirate spinoff series

24 - James Bond 007: Bloodstone - PC

I left moderately shaken and slightly stirred, driving sections were the highlight

22 - It Takes Two - PS5

Really reaally good fun, great gameplay variety in varied environments. Not particularly hard or challenging but that worked in its favour as it was part hangout part gaming session. Story was a bit nonsensical but good enough to keep things going.

21 - Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - PS5

I finished this two days ago and feel like I've forgotten most of it all ready. It's pretty, real pretty and fun but no depth with any mechanics to master or learn. Can't complain though, I definitely enjoyed it while it lasted.

20 - AC Brotherhood: Ezio Collection (PS5)

Mixed bag this one, world, combat and general gameplay felt better than II but the story and pacing were pretty lacklustre - i'm still confused whether or not the baddy actually died or just had a bit of fall :(

19 - Mass Effect 3: Legendary Edition (PS5) As my least played and least remembered of the trilogy found myself expecting to be disappointed but I actually had a great time playing through this again and it maybe my favourite of the series (or at least tied with two). Being years removed from all th...

Re: Games Completed 2021

18 - Assassin's Creed II: Ezio Collection (PS5) Really creaky in places especially with the climbing and character models but wasn't long before i was drawn in and fully immersed in stabbing people throughout Italy all over again. The atmosphere (helped immensely by the awesome soundtrack) is what s...

17 - Mass Effect 2: Legendary Edition (PS5) Kicking myself as I managed to get my sweet fish man friend Thane killed in the suicide mission but still a great game, combat felt a bit tired but the world, narrative and overall gameplay still hold up really really well. Remastering is great too making ...

16 - Max Payne 3 (PC) Brilliant and brutal, feel like i need a shower now though to wash off all the grime I love this game, it's weird to think I started it, didn't like it but then gave it a second shot two years later and it became a classic in my eyes. The last level in the airport will stay wi...

15 - Mass Effect 1: Legendary Edition (PS5) One of the better remasters I've played that does a great job of balancing staying true to the original design whilst also making needed quality of life improvements. The graphics and framerate improvements really do make a difference to the experience, I ...

12 - Ghost Recon Wildlands - PS5 Played this over 4 months dipping in and out which definitely helped as it is very repetitive in it's design and mission structure but had a good time with it, the world is beautiful and varied and had some fun times stealthy sniping my way into enemy bases. Played s...

11 - Max Payne (PC)

Such a blast! had never actually finished this, got about half way through the PS2 version back in the day and gave up due to the difficulty. Persevered this time and was well rewarded, combat and atmosphere are still top notch and overall this is still a fantastic action game.

10 - Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (PC) Whilst this is still your standard shooting gallery FPS campaign I was surprised by the story, tone and characters which really elevated the experience and made it a much more fun time than your normal military shooter. The real highlight was the destructible env...

9 - From Russia With Love (GCN via Dolphin Emulator)

EA's and Connery's last bond hurrah is better than i thought it would be, a fairly standard shooter for the time but has enough Bond flavour (JETPACKS) to make it a worthwhile playthrough for Bond fans and doesn't overstay it's welcome.

8 - Crysis 2 (PC)

On gamepass, big dumb fun - the plot was nonsense but the destroyed New York setting, set pieces and super suit powers made it a good time and worth a playthrough

7. Detroit: Become Human (PS4 on PS5) Second playthrough, tried to make all bad choices this time which did result in a bunch of differences especially near the end. Going this route also didn't show Markus in such a christ like light which was one of my major groans with story first time around. Mo...

6. Hitman 1-3 (PS5) Kicking myself for not playing 1 and 2 earlier but being able to play all 3 games in one package made this an epic experience - truly brilliant games that i really can't fault, played through every level from 1-3 but i will definitely be returning after a short break to try vario...
