Re: 493 - Dead Rising
I had this game on the Xbox 360 as it was one of the "hot" titles early in that console's life but my memories of it are hazy, but I think I played it briefly but bounced off it. I revisited this game on the PS4 in order to play along with the show but after about 10 hours I gave up trying...

Re: Hypnospace Outlaw
It's a shame I didn't get a chance to complete the game and comment before the recording as I have quite a lot to say about this one! The general presentation and mood of the game is fantastic, and really builds up a convincing world and does a really good job of imitating the "Geocities-style&...

Re: Gaming Telly Discussion (and Diminishing Returns)
I have been offered a LG B8 55 inch TV for £700 by a mate of mine who bought it last year for £1,100. Is this a great deal? Does anyone know the quality of this model? It's a very good TV, there isn't really a huge amount of difference between the B8 and B9. I think thats a fair price but not excep...

Re: Electric razors / beard trimmers
I've had a short beard for the last 5 or so years and i've used a lot of crap £30 beard trimmers in that time (Philips and Babyliss ones). I recently decided to invest in a Panasonic one and you definitely get what you pay for. It's cut my trimming time in half! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-ER...

Re: Gaming Telly Discussion (and Diminishing Returns)
Be aware there are some small differences between the B9 and C9 on this generation (in the past there wasn't, I have a B7 and it was identical to the C7 other than cosmetic differences. Peak brightness on C9 is higher and has a newer CPU. For most people there won't be any real noticeable difference...

Re: Rolling Stone's Top 40 Sci-Fi Movies of the 21st Century
Nice list, been watching a lot more films recently so a few on there to check out. One that I always seem to have an unpopular opinion on that always shows up on these type of lists is The Martian - did anyone else find that incredibly overrated? I didn't find it "boring" but there just di...
