Re: Games Completed 2021
Finished Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia recently, it was fine, but I hear better things about its sequel, so looking forward to that.

Re: Games Completed 2021
So, since I last posted I finished Persona 5 Strikers, really fun game and a decent follow up. I also completed Root Double: Before Crime * After Days Xtend Edition, which is a pretty fun mind bendy sort of visual novel. Would definitely recommend both.

Re: Games Completed 2021
Finally finished Trails of Cold Steel 4 today. I am very excited to see where the series goes from here with Hajimari no Kiseki. Hopefully the wait for an English release won't be too long.

Re: Games Completed 2021
I really need to play the Ys series, I'm very interested in it after going through all of the (available in English) Trails/Kiseki games, and hearing that it also has really good NPCs has me more interested. I only played the fist Trails in the Sky years ago (quit halfway through, it was going way ...

Re: Games Completed 2021
Exploring the deserted island is a great hook and the plot develops nicely from there. The set-up made me think about the differences between the big globe spanning JRPGs and the tighter affairs like this. The former usually has a lot of grand locations and set pieces but the latter has more develo...

Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
Oh, actually, thought of another recommendation, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, new game from Vanillaware that released in English a few months back, it ended up being my favorite game of 2020. It really ended up surprising me.

Re: 476 - The Last of Us Part II
I went into the game not expecting too much, I was expecting the same as what I got out of the first game, a good experience, but not something I ultimately love. I was aware of the leaks, kind of hard not to be at the time, but I'm pretty used to things leaking and people having dramatic reactions ...

Re: Games of 2021: What piques your interest?
Uh, let me think. so, Impostor Factory is the third mainline game in the To The Moon series that'll be releasing this year. After playing Psychonauts last year, I'm very interested in Psychonauts 2 . I've taken an interest in the Rune Factory series but haven't played them, and I'd like to start wit...

Re: Game suggestions for the podcast
Hmmm... well, only game that I can think of suggesting that has not already been suggested from my limited search would be AI: The Somnium files, which is from the creator of the Zero Escape trilogy. Also, I'm curious as to what the stance for fan translations is? I've seen a few series here recomme...

Re: Games Completed 2020
Hmmm... thinking of games I finished this year, the most notable for me would be the Infinity trilogy (the games Uchikoshi worked on before Zero Escape), Never 7 , Ever 17 and Remember 11 . It was an interesting experience, seeing where he started to some degree and how he used previous ideas into h...

Re: avatar, I guess you can either custom search for 100x100 images on Google or make one yourself, or there are sites that'll shrink images for you. I use this one: https://resizeimage.net/

Re: The "Introduce yourself" thread
Hello, Shy Monkeys here, just started listening to this podcast a few weeks ago. Decided to join the forums since I kept hearing about it. One question, though, how do you make a 100 x 100 pixel avatar that's 17 KiB or less? I can't figure out how to do that.
