Re: Well Twitter has been interesting today hasn't it.
Thanks for all the kind words everyone. As Leon said, we are all older, wiser and have developed as people, but our political beliefs and moral values have remained consistent. It's one of the reasons the team would have been brought together as that was more important than our similarities in taste...

Re: I'll Name That Game In Five! (The Return!)
Hello! I was just searching for something and stumbled upon a thread I made several years ago. The game is that I will describe or give a clue for several games using exactly five words, and you have to guess what they are. It's a good game, ok!? When they've all been got, someone else can have a g...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?
My dad died suddenly yesterday at 67 years of age. He was always a great supporter of my gaming. We couldn't afford to buy the Mega Drive outright when it was released. Instead, he'd rent it out from the local video store one day at a time. Often I'd have it for weeks at a time. He must have paid t...

I've been playing this recently. I'd heard a lot of positives from people for whom I trust their opinions and thought I'd give it a go. Definitely enjoying it so far.

Re: The Great CaR Secret Santa 2017!
This is good to see and it's something I ran for a few years on a former forum I frequented and know it's a lot of fun (and quite a nightmare for the organiser) - unfortunately, I have a lot going on at the moment and won't be able to take part this year otherwise I'd have loved to join in. Best of ...

Thanks for all your feedback everyone, feel free to keep it coming! It's great to see you sign up Ventis, it's always appreciated when someone signs up to just to discuss a certain game and it seems this one is very important to you! I hope you stick around and give some equally excellent feedback f...

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn
My dad has been playing the heck out of this and has constantly been telling me how fantastic it is ever since. I'm looking forward to getting round to it when I get the chance, definitely seems to be right up my street.

Re: Videogame crossovers/battles
Crossovers are always an odd thing and nothing new, we've seen them many times (not always via the most official licensing back in the day) to appearances in other franchises (such as Heihachi in Soul Calibur, amongst others) but the problem is that balancing it always becomes an issue. Square Enix ...

Re: Art of Atari
Atari isn't really my wheelhouse (though I was fortunate that my Grandad did have one when I was a bairn so I did get to play one!) but I'm sorely tempted to treat myself to this, thanks for the write-up Leon.

If anyone wants to add me to play then my BattleNet is NokkonWud#2206. Don't be afraid to just throw me an invite or something! I say this on Social Media and have had a couple of people add me, but no one ever invites!

Re: INSIDE (includes spoiler-filled narrative discussion)
I always felt that the boy may have been the success and to keep the secret they activated some form of fail-safe in summoning him back, which is why, if they see him, they kill him instantly.
There are many ways to read it though, it's quite fascinating.

I've never heard of it. You'd think people would be talking about it on Social Media or something!

Re: Xbox One
maybe it's just down to the fact that I'm so new to it. I'm sure it'll grow on me, if the new update doesn't come right away anyway. mostly the store is what bothers me as i like to find stuff by happenstance more than search for it by name. I'm an impulsive buyer especially if there are sales. One...

Re: Xbox One
Has anyone bought an Xbox One controller lately? Preferably if you've already got an older one too. I ask because I heard on some podcast lately that apparently they change the construction of them at some point, and the bumpers have been vastly improved. Somehow I had not heard about this before. ...

Yeah, that's a great price, especially with the library of games it has (and many are available at very cheap prices!)
