Re: The Nintendo news and discussion thread

It's been interesting seeing the general excited response on twitter etc but the gaming and mainstream press being very cynical and dismissive. I've yet to be convinced enough to plonk down a pre order as theirs so many unanswered questions but I'm also not going to just wright it off as just anothe...

Re: The Sony news and discussion thread

Well I got my first taste of PSVR today with a couple of hours spent playing with my friend Rich over at the True Achievements office and well it was ....... darn impressive! I've messed around with Oculus Rift a few times at different trade shows and always felt it was just a screen put very close ...

Re: All things Red Dead

Oh Rockstar certainly know how to tease and hype us up over a long period of time, I'm not sure the internet is going to be able to keep it's shit together over the next 14 months!

Re: The Nintendo news and discussion thread

Well Nintendo certainly has got the internet talking that's for sure. I'm waiting for more info on the core specs of the Switch before going all hyper crazy but from the info we gleamed from the trailer I'm not yet sold. Personally I'm not interested in the portability aspects of the device as I've ...

Re: Cane and Rinse Club on Xbox One and PS4

Am I in this club? :?: I didn't even know about it, until, after trying to make one myself, I saw the name was taken already. Tony made one without telling anyone! Ha Ha this is true but that's only because I had the preview the day it released and wanted to secure the name. Just like the PS4 clubs...

Re: Jamestown: Legend of the Lost Colony – Cane and Rinse 224

Right where to start ... Firstly I didn't mean to offend anyone with my fairly flippant view on Jamestown's story but after podcasting for many years I personally think the worst thing a panelist can do is keep his or her's options muted due to fear that they may be seen as somebody that "Didn't get...

Re: The "Introduce yourself" thread

Good to have you aboard Suits

I always enjoy seeing people setups, I used to have my gaming memorabilia all over my house but the introduction of kids soon put paid to that! Luckily I like soft toys and dressing in little princesses outfits ;-)

Re: Volume Five podcast listing

Happy to see Bloodborne on there, but in last place!? Oh the wait haha. No Human Revolution though? Guess it's in Volume 6 then :) Also very much looking forward to Amnesia, one of my country's finest additions to gaming in recent years imo! Speaking of which, is it Dec 1 soon!?! As Leon said Lokhe...

Re: Volume Five podcast listing

Looking forward to this. I've been listening to all 200 previous podcasts in order and only have 5 more to go. It'll be good to actually play through a few of the games before the show and maybe get into the forum threads :) Always great to hear people going through the back catalogue, When did you...

Re: The Witcher III: Wild Hunt

I brought The Wither 3 in a sale months ago but haven't broken the virtual seal! I'm defiantly starting it in the new year so any tips for a new adventurer? I've heard starting on a harder difficulty makes you value the combat a lot more.

I'm in shock at how fast Telltale seem to be getting Minecraft: Story Mode out comparatively to all their other series.

Re: All things Fallout

I'm around 12 hours in and I'm enjoying it but not loving it. The world, quest structure and look of the game feel very much like we've seen this all before in fact bar the fairly rudimentary base building mechanic you could be forgiven for thinking you had turned on Fallout 3 by mistake! Fallout 3 ...

Re: Halo 3 - Cane and Rinse 185

After being underwhelmed by Halo 4 and growing a bit burned out on the franchise in general a thought struck me for what might get me interested in buying a singleplayer Halo again. For as much as a fan I am when it comes to the Halo series I'm also pretty burned out, Halo 4 was pretty uninspiring ...

Re: Skylanders: Trap Team

Yeah, all exsisting figures will be compatible with the new one. I'm done with Skylanders, frankly. The games are fun, and the figures are nice. But it's such a fucking cash-grab now. When Giants came out, they gave the option of buying a cheaper version if you already owned the first game. But now...
