RE4 until 1am again. I think it's fair to say I approve this venture.

Currently finding statue heads and just ridden the first ornate castle travel car mechanism. Big game is big!

I played for around 10 hours yesterday and found it as hard to put down as the original. I think they've really (re)captured the flow and balance of one of my all-time favourites. There are however some niggling issues with the versions out now as it stands. Check out our friend John's video: N1QOYo...

I love Luigi's Mansion 3.

But if you didn't like it, definitely don't bother with 2.

Nintendo kinda dropped the family friendly thing about 30 years ago when Doom and Mortal Kombat II landed on the SNES. Yeah, pretty sure I sang the praises of the Wii version on both of our RE4 podcasts!
It definitely does make the game easier though, if you get used to it.

I'm quite happy to play the new version with traditional controls, however.

I find RE Engine games need a lot of tweaking to get the gamma and HDR settings spot on.

I still haven't read this, but I remember back in the 90s my then girlfriend would take multiple copies from the bookshop storeroom where she worked to dish them out to pretty much everyone she knew.

They added a dodge mechanic to DS3 and it wasn't great there, but some sort of Alan Wake still lurch/lunge to the side could have worked here.

I pretty much only use plasma cutter. If you focus on fully upgrading it to the max it becomes almost OP for most situations.
