I've seen a couple of videos of Necrodancer, but I think don't really get what it is. I know, 'a roguelike rhythm action dungeon crawler'. Yeah. I still don't get what it is  Its hard to explain without using those words but here goes nothing A dungeon similar to Zelda/isaac is generated and h...

Re: Microsoft Xbox news and discussion thread

Im pretty much going all in on gamepass at this point. Unless theres something i desperately need then ill buy it but theres more than enough to keep me going on gamepass at such a decent price.

Its probably the best thing to takeaway from e3 this year so far

Re: E3 2019 - Conference times and general chat

I think EA are in need of a new direction so maybe its for the best if they have a year off This stream is going to be three hours long... that’s hardly a year off... Three hours long but they've got approximately one new game. In terms of the company's future it certainly feels like a more relaxed...

Re: E3 2019 - Conference times and general chat

I recall being at an event in which a Rockstar employee said that RDR2 was in development and Max Payne 4 had no chance. It was all off the cuff business to business and was about 4 or 5 years ago now. I couldve "leaked" it but chose not to out of respect for the situation and circumstance. If i was...

I spent about 5 hours by myself on trains over the weekend, and a lot of that time I was playing Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.

I do love seeing peoples hopes for coverage for the podcast. We did try and push for double the amount of shows per volume with patreon but unfortunately we didnt hit the required goal.

I've been waiting for a Waverace show to happen for years!!!

No name, no gameplay
Yoshi was the same. Nintendo tend to tell you something is happening and then leave it be until its within a few months of release. Luigis mansion 3 seems the same.

Re: E3 2019 - Conference times and general chat

It's strange to think that MS could potentially reveal a new piece of hardware. I guess this streaming future puts less emphasis on the hardware and making it all about the games which, from an MS point of view, is entirely the point. They've always made money from software and not hardware, really ...

Cheers guys. I've just watched some gameplay videos, it does look slower and more considered, and it kinda makes me want to play Isaac again rather than start something similar-ish. Plus it will probably end up in a sale again by the time I want to actually sit down and play it... Still a few more ...

Re: What's Out This Week?

A light week, but it's E3 so there's always bound to be some shadow drops here and there. I'm off to Devon and Cornwall for a few days so I thought I'd get ahead of the new releases for next week. Run Jump Rabbit Turtle (PC) – June 11 Battle Worlds: Kronos (Switch) – June 11 Verlet Swing (PS4, Xbox ...
