Re: 647: Luigi's Mansion 3

Before playing this game I'd played a little of the original back on GameCube and thought it was alright. Then when Luigi's Mansion 3 was released one of my boys was desperate to play it and fellow forumite, Kurt, very kindly lent me his copy through the post. My son absolutely loved the game, which...

Well this thread has turned in to bot spam central, hasn't it.

That last post was like school assembly: "...and so that is how bridges are made. And bridges are a bit like Jesus, aren't they. How Jesus supported his followers and allowed them to cross the chasm of their hearts".

Re: 613: Cyberpunk 2077

I played most of this game on the Series S prior to the big update patch they released last year. As it was, I enjoyed the game, but it never really looked as incredible as some of the screenshots I'd seen - perhaps a combination of playing it on a less powerful console and my budget, albeit suppose...

Re: Videogame News

With the Wii-U servers being turned off, players have been trying to clear every single user created Super Mario Maker level. It's been interesting to watch the progress and there are now only five levels still remaining. As you can imagine, they are almost impossible. Story: https://www.gamesradar...

Ah yeah that's the one I had for PS3. I think the PS4 and Switch versions are more or less the same. It's a massive collection of games!

Re: Really great 'retro' collections

Haven't had too many others to compare, but I have a love for the Sega Mega Drive Collection mostly because that was my first time playing Streets of Rage, which is now one of my favourite games series. Also my first time playing Phantasy Star IV, which I liked quite a bit. And also replaying games...

Re: Whatcha Been Watching?

We watched the first episode of The Gentlemen on Netflix last night, which is a series seemingly based on a Guy Ritchie film that I've not seen. I enjoyed the film much more than I liked the series, which at times felt like a poor, straight-to-dvd rip-off but that's possibly just due to having Theo...

Re: Whatcha Been Watching?

We watched the first episode of The Gentlemen on Netflix last night, which is a series seemingly based on a Guy Ritchie film that I've not seen. It seems to be almost a UK equivalent of Breaking Bad or Ozark, and it was enjoyable. We'll definitely be watching the rest of the series. It also guest st...

Re: Mental Health

I'm all over the fucking place at the moment. I don't know why so I don't know how to stop it. It's not even one day to the next, it can change in the hour. One minute feel like everything is brilliant and the next like my world is crashing down and genuinely can't think of any reason to carry on wi...

Re: Really great 'retro' collections

Ah interesting, never knew it was a TV show. Always thought it was a weird concept for a game, still a weird concept for a cartoon I suppose! Perhaps no more weird than any other 80s and 90s animated series.

Worked from home today so I could, erm, check if this worked properly for most of the day. Still hasn't bloody unlocked!

I think a lot of people liked Judgement best. I really enjoyed it, it's probably my second favourite after Yakuza Kiwami 2. Still need to get round to playing the second Judgement game.

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Xeno Crisis is a fantastic top down twin stick shooter, developed for the Sega Megadrive (and that's the version we have here) which uses the face buttons to shoot. You might think it would be a bit fiddly but you soon get the hang of it. It's a brilliant little arcade shooter. Tough, too. I only r...

Re: Really great 'retro' collections

Yeah I'm interested in that Atari collection just for the sheer scale of it, even if half the games are really not worth playing these games (subjective, I know). I'm most looking forward to the upcoming Jeff Minter collection, that's going to be amazing.
