Microsoft account hassles (Xbox etc)

Hey, so I've got about 4 Microsoft accounts. I've got the first one I ever set up about 15 years ago when I got my 360 for Xbox Live, two through work and one through uni. I've just had a right game this morning trying to log in to my Microsoft account in Minecraft on the Switch, it was coming up wi...

Has anyone checked on Nic Cage to see how he's doing?
Ha, I had no idea what you were on about till I looked it up and read all about his stolen comics! Didn't realise he was such a fan!

Re: Comic Book Chatter

Is anyone else into Japanese comics? It's a real passion of mine (keep having to prune collection due to literally not having shelf space) - I have had a horrible addiction for two decades now. It's not something I've ever really explored to be honest. I did have a few Death Note books years back, ...

Re: The Nintendo news and discussion thread

Has anyone played Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 ? I'm thinking of getting it for the kids, and to be honest I'm quite in the mood for a mindless, button bashing brawler with a load of Marvel characters. My 2 younger ones have recently been really enjoying the Golden Axe trilogy on Megadrive and the Cap...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

I'm about 45 hours in to Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch on Switch, and maybe about halfway through the story. I'm really enjoying it, and I think it's because I'm playing on Switch. I can't see myself sitting down to play this on the TV, but I've been playing it every night whilst watching a m...

Re: PS1 games and exclusives leaving PSN - Grab them while you can!

The PSP versions of Street Fighter Alpha 3 and MGS: Peacewalker are worth picking up. Peacewalker in particular is much better on Vita than it was on PSP since you can use the right stick for the camera. Also, if you have any access to the Japanese store, the PS1 game Silent Bomber (the only place t...

Re: The Sony news and discussion thread

I'd like to see Naughty Dog make a pirate adventure. I know Uncharted 4 was almost that, but full on historical, cinematic, linear pirate story. I'd also love Rockstar to do a big open world pirate game. I just don't see why there aren't more pirate games. It seems like such a deep well that I don't...

Re: The Sony news and discussion thread

I'd prefer a tight 10-12 hour side story game, similar to Lost Legacy. I want a Sam and Sully spinoff but I'm resigned to the idea that any future UC property will probably be Cassie or Young Nate. Oh yeah I thought about a Sam and Sully spinoff too, but I meant I'd like spinoff story in TLOU world...

Have you played Monster Hunter before, Jon? If not, interested how it was for you as a newcomer to the series, whether it's accessible etc.

Action Comics #1 (first Superman appearance) has just broken the record for most expensive comic ever sold, making £2.8m at auction. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-56669924 Yikes! I'll wait for the trade paperback... In other comic news, just started an interesting book - Alec: Th...

Ah interesting, I had no idea you could unlock the original. My kids played this when I had PS Now and enjoyed it, but if I'd realised the original was unlockable I'd have took a closer look!

Re: The Nintendo news and discussion thread

Highest I've managed to place so far is 32nd. But it's a lot 'easier' to last longer than in Tetris, I've found so far. Enjoying it!

Seems to be a lot of rules I don't yet understand though. I got killed by a see though red Pacman earlier, not sure what that was all about!

Re: Whatcha Been Listening To?

Just sat and listened to the new Godspeed You! Black Emperor album: G_d's Pee AT STATE'S END! Actually rather different to previous work, a lot more ambient synth type stuff. Glimpses of their old selves are peppered through the lengthy tunes, but it marks a definite departure from their old stuff....

Re: Help me make an all time greatest comedy film list!

Thanks all - loads of good recommendations here. Some I've seen (South Park for instance, the only film ever to make me literally cry with laughter in the cinema, aged about 20), but loads I've not. Thanks!

My favorite comedy film!

Not seen the others though, thanks! Heard great things about Caddyshack over the years.
