Re: Xbox hard drive problems

Cheers guys - this is how silly I was I didn't realise there was a straight 'copy' function. I presume it is in te 'settings' 'storage' section then you hit a specific button to copy. I will try getting it running again - is there anyway to link it to my PC without opening it up that anyone knows of?

Xbox hard drive problems

Ok I am in a bit of a pickle right now. My old Xbox elite has been sounding a but unhealthy for months but the other week it decided to freeze at the boot up screen. After much tinkering & testing I narrowed it down to the 250gig HD and after a few days it somehow started working again (after visiti...

Has this hit XBLA EU? I am without interweb (excluding my phone) due to a series of BT cock ups. If it is I know what I'm doing when then line gets connected!

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

My foray to Conan world is thankfully over with a completion on Hard Mode and that game really sits well below the bar compared to its peers. For me it became a frustrated, bug ridden game that seemed to have poor reactive controls and non free flowing combat systems. Platform inch was frustrating a...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Super Meat boy - damn that game - I lost a 4-6 hour play session due to a big (completing 2/3 of cotton valley too) which means I haven't been back. I true a couple of the dark void levels but I found the game crazy hard :( The revisit to Trials HD was cool think I am gena head back to that and and ...

Re: Board/Card Games - The obligatory "analogue" gaming thre

On kickstarters & bored games I am currently backing DreadBall by mantic games - its more of a model/figure base board game but rules look good and I am pretty excited.

Outside of that our recent games have been the card game Blood Bowl & the odd Game of Thrones.

Ahh cool - I am mid way through a long extended moving process but PM me your gamer tag or add me - I Havbro fired the game up yet but do get the odd hour during the day to game - so maybe when my move is done we can paste some bad guys :D

Re: Time Attack!

Not sure what route you are taking but I find some sections it is faster to take the low road then the high road so you hit the next section in a better position etc...

Re: Technical Q&A - all consoles

I stand by ether net and for my ones (we run a lot of stuff PC, MAC, 3 laptops, Xbox, PS3, iPad) and sometimes most are running. My house mate picked up the plug connections where you use a plug socket as a cable link so it's easy to put the input & output plugs on different rooms or levels of the h...

Re: Hangover/Sickness Gaming

I can suggest one game NOT to play with a hangover. I tried finishing off some mirrors edge one morning when I was feeling particularly bad and ended up sat for 45mins in the toilet trying to stop my head from spinning - first person camera perspective & front rolls don't do you any good is all I wi...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

A few people recommended Conan to me so I almost bought it when it was super-cheap (under £3) in the On Demand sale recently. I was sceptical as to its merits however. That's when I picked it up - I really don't think it offers anything in the way of gameplay or visuals or sexism that you can't get...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Conan...

It's good now and then to remind yourselves how poorly polished games can be and how some designers have come leaps and bounds forward from games with poor combat systems and macho sexism dropping from every cut scene.

This game puts my gaming barometer back in line - mindless rubbish :)
