I'm no fan of the tories but these are pretty impressive measures being implemented here.

Re: Final Fantasy VII Remake

Square tweeted today, saying the game isn't delayed but with the supply lines obviously prioritising other items over video games right now and the shops being closed, getting physical copies might be quite difficult.

Re: I am going to clear my backlog and try and keep a record here

I took the interesting step of selling... nearly all my physical video games. Which for context, was £1385.30 worth. Which has the unintended effect of basically obliterating my backlog. All I have left now, excluding digital games is https://resizeimage.net/mypic/bWw7E3G1RM6xy5ZQ/9ra8V/89905239_106...

Re: The Nintendo news and discussion thread

Indie direct tomorrow, 5pm UK time. Which ties in with a rumour by which said we’d get an indie direct this week, and a general direct next week.

I went to Sainsbury’s before, they actually had toilet rolls, and a big sign saying ‘2 packs of toilet roll per customer maximum’ and some woman was screaming at the staff because they were telling her she couldn’t buy the 15 packs of toilet roll she’d bunged in her trolley ‘HOW DARE YOU I WILL BE R...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

I have been playing.... Spider-Man Edge of Time - bad. Clunky, looks bad, plays bad. Ratchet & Clank Crack in Time - amazing. My favourite game in one of my favourite game series. God of War (2005) - the PS3 remaster. Still very fun. Jarring though, since the actual game has been remastered, but the...

No playable Red 13 is weird, assuming it does end with the group leaving Midgar.

I like it a lot. It’s a lot harder than the original. I would have died at several points in the scorpion fight without potions.

Re: Whatcha Been Watching?

I also saw The Invisible Man . Which I liked a lot. I'm not nearly articulate enough to write even a short decent review, but it was a movie I enjoyed. Elizabeth Moss carried a lot of it, the ending was very satisfying. I also saw Star Wars Rogue One - Love it The remake of the first pokemon movie w...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

the first two infamous games which do not hold up at all, disappointingly. I don’t know if it’s cos Spider-Man has changed my expectations for open world super hero games, but these games have a poor frame rate, bad and cheap enemy design, poor traversal methods, the NPC characters all cut very wei...

Re: Games Completed 2020

God of War Chains of Olympus - not that great, unfortunately. Shrinking the god of war experience to PSP size didn't improve it, if anything, it made it incredibly dull. Remove the large spectacle, replace with endless waves of frustrating enemies, and brain dead puzzles.
