Re: Game Suggestions for the Podcast

And wasn't it written by the guy behind BioShock: Infinite? If so, that's a good sign... Do you mean Minerva's Den or other bits of Bioshock? Minerva's Den was written by Steve Gaynor (who's gone onto (with others - some ex irrational) form his own company (http://thefullbrightcompany.com/) and is ...

Re: Halo - All of it

Also, may be a problem with my enjoyment of the story is I watched Forward Unto Dawn just before starting and that though that was excellent!

More akin to ODST in terms of feel, so perfect for me. But may have detracted a bit from 4.

Re: Halo - All of it

Just finished Halo 4 story, I liked it overall but IMO not as good as CE, ODST or Reach. It had it's moments (mission 1 & missions 4-6 were excellent) but not enough to tip it over the other games for me. But especially liked the Infinity missions. Thought the cutscenes were very well done, nice gra...

Re: Halo 4

Have now ordered this based on multiplayer shenanigans last night (won't be here for a couple of days though as ordered from amazon as I had a voucher). Not too sure on the Singleplayer - getting a bit tired of MC, but the recent Giant Bomb halo 1-3 marathon did make me more interested again... Stil...

I've had this pre-ordered pretty much since I first heard about it.

Love the style of the world, the powers look really interesting and could lead to very different play styles. Very much looking forward to it! :D

Re: XCOM: Enemy Unknown

Played demo last night, really impressed me! Haven't played any previous Xcom games but definitely will be picking this up. Unfortunately out the same day as Dishono(u)red so won't be picking up at release but hopefully this year! it may seem a bit pointless, but does anyone know if you can name you...

Re: Mirror's Edge

When this games flows well, it's perfect. When it stutters it becomes an awkward 'puzzle' of how to disarm all the enemies while not getting destroyed by gunfire.
