The code worked. Thanks James I will soon be receiving my cardboard through the post. My wife will be delighted! Haha.
Phew! Excellent. No idea what I did wrong first time around.
Better that the code goes to someone who will use it, rather than my ungrateful arse.
Enjoy!

Re: Videogame Deals

It does say that it's "personalised", but no mention I could see in the T&Cs that it was tied to my account. I guess we'll find out.

Check your emails, I’ve had a code for 50% off Labo sets from Nintendo UK.
Anyone else get this email and not need their code?
Absolutely. Check your PMs!

Edit: Now sent, but the PM isn't showing in my sent folder. Let me know if you received the message, or if I should re-send. Cheers!

Re: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Fair to say you've reached the point at which the map opens up. I know it's not what you want to hear, but anywhere you can go is perfectly fine for now. You might find that you progress to a dead end or insurmountable challenge in any given direction, but as long as you're finding new Sculptor's Id...

No Hardcore Mecha on PS4 outside of Asia yet? I mean, I guess I could pick it up on PC.

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

I really enjoyed Infamous: Second Son - it opens up to loads more than just smoke based stuff. It was more of the same for the series, but I really liked the first two games, too. I'd definitely be up for more, although I do still have Last Light to play actually. Did you give up on it or you going...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Been having a bit of a backlog blast over the past week. A few years ago, my backlog stood at something like 600 games; between changing PSN accounts (before PSN ID changes were allowed) and spending the odd week/weekend clearing a bunch of games, I'm now down under 100. I've taken to giving each ga...

Re: All things Telltale

Sounds like Telltale wanted to put a disc out before the full season was released, which means (as you say) the disc itself is a download key. Unless I'm mistaken, this is similar to how backwards compatible games work on Xbox One. The disc has to be in to play, I'm guessing?

James, if it is any consolation, the second Batman is much better and actually worth checking out.
Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. :)
Think I also have Wolf Among Us and Borderlands from Plus/Gold, so should probably give those a look at some point.

Re: All things Telltale

Coincidentally, I started Batman: The Telltale Series yesterday, and was compelled enough with the story to see it through all 5 episodes. This was the first of Telltale’s games I’ve played through since The Walking Dead: Season 1. The limits of Telltale’s formula and engine were pretty apparent, I ...

Re: All things Telltale

Yeah, I just checked and Transformers: Devastation is still in my PS4 library. It's not on the PlayStation Store though, so you'll have to check through the 'Purchased' section of your library to install it. Given the rumours that our PS4 and Xbox One libraries will transfer over, and the new consol...

Re: Games Completed 2019

I loved learning that fight too, Ogata. My only complaint, and one I've heard a lot from others, is having to go through the fight immediately beforehand every single time. That first round quickly became trivial for me, and so it was this weird gate I had to walk through in order to get back to lea...

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

Yeah, I definitely felt that Gears 4 was The Coalition proving they could make a Gears game. Really hoping they stretch their legs with Gears 5 and step outside of what's expected, at least a little.

Re: Dragon's Dogma

Yeah, really frustrating, Alex79uk. :( Sorry, Scrustle! I can only say that the dagger abilities I have mostly seem to come down to holding R1 and a face button to initiate, and then mashing an attack button to continue the move. I either stagger the enemies by continuing to mash or risk my a...
