Re: Whatcha Been Watching?

I saw Alien in 4K for it's 40th anniversary at the beginning of the year. Absolutely loved it. I need to remember to keep an eye out for when cinemas are showing classic films.

Re: September 2019 monthly

Yeah I never really say it, but look forward to these episodes just as much as the main show. They're always great after a shitty day at work. I'm sure I'm not the only one, but it really feels like just chatting with a couple of mates down the pub. Sometimes I'll even join in with a real life 'ha,...

Re: Whatcha Been Watching?

Also, this is an ugly point to raise, but the weight gain of two of the actors is an issue. Jesse is noticeably heavier and it's distracting in some of the flashback scenes where he's trying to portray his younger, thinner self. However there's another actor that has gained a very significant amoun...

That's what I thought. The S7 does everything I need it to so have no reason to change it.

Re: New Mobile Phone tech - Does anyone still care?

I've had a Samsung S7 since 2016 and I love it. I see no reason to upgrade to an S8 let alone S9 or I guess there might be an S10 now?

Re: Whatcha Been Watching?

I don't intend to find out to be honest.

I did actually really like The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus though. I've seen that multiple times. Actually and Fear and Loathing a couple of times but that's pretty weird too.

Re: Whatcha Been Watching?

I envy those of you that experienced Brazil for the first time at that impressionable age. It's easy to see why it's held in such high regard. I first watched Brazil as a teenager and didn't know much of Gilliam other than the fact he did 12 Monkeys which I thought was the most confusing film I'd e...

MGS V. Bought day one with limited edition guide. Traded it in then bought it digitally on PS4 and still not got further than rescuing Miller . It has since been PS+ and on Gamepass  (I have finished every other MGS game) Oh yeah I forgot about MGSV. I got to... The repeat of the mission when ...

Metal Gear Solid 3
Yep. I got to the fight with The End way back when and had to take the game back to Blockbuster and then never played it again.

Also Assassin's Creed 3. Played for 2-3 hours and was bored shitless so gave up.

The only other one I can think of is Resident Evil 0.

@KSubzero1000 I'm on Xbox so unfortunately the PS4 sale doesn't help. Your ranking actually surprises me but I'm one of the seemingly few people that really rates CVX. I'm not massive on 3 really apart from how good the pre-rendered backgrounds are. I've never been a Nintendo person so your Zelda an...

Yes! It was great it really helped you get into the sense of paranoia and the character's perspectives.

You're really talking me into it. It does kind of bug me as being kind of a black spot in a series that I'm a massive fan of. I'll have to keep an eye out for it being on sale at some point.

Re: All Things Jurassic Park

I think that short film they released last week will pretty much what the film is. Dinosaurs in the real world and the situations that arise from it. I imagine the original cast will just be cameos like Goldblum's in Fallen Kingdom.

All just speculation though obviously.

Re: Whatcha Been Playing?

I thought Zero started strongly, but I got soon got bored after I reached the animal statue puzzle much further into the game, couldn’t work it out and never had the motivation to try again. I'm pretty put off by the item management system to be honest. Apparently there are no item boxes so you hav...
