That's true. Unleashed and generations are the best 3D ones by far, with the exception of the werehog thing. Again, sonic team having no idea what they want. The boost bar idea is also a fantastic feature, essentially letting us control sonics speed without major loss of control.

Sonic adventure is pretty awful. No only does it have the terrible treasure hunting missions, there's the fishing game, the one with Amy running from the robot, the tails levels... No no

I'm curious, what do people here think of sonic and his games? I know there's a certainly a lot of fans who claim his early stuff is equal to say, Mario world or Mario bros 3, but honestly I don't see it. I think most of his 2D stuff pretty medicore. Anyway, viewtiful joe was a very random choice for me the day after I got my gamecube since it was £5 in gamestation. Loved it then, love it now. Shame we've never had a proper sequel excluding that one on the DS
